THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER: Sam Wilson And Bucky Barnes Cover The Latest Issue Of Empire Magazine

Following those glowing social media reactions, we have two new Empire Magazine covers highlighting Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) ahead of their upcoming team-up on Disney+.

Earlier today, the first social media reactions for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier surfaced online. So far, it sounds like we're in for a treat, and in my take, I said that, "like [WandaVision], this is something new from [Marvel Studios]. A character study mixed with blockbuster visuals, it's a slow burn, but a showcase for Mackie and Stan."

The show's two leads actually receive the spotlight on a couple of new Empire Magazine covers.

Nothing mind-blowing is revealed here, but there's no denying that the two heroes look great together. Whether their team-up will last is another matter, of course, especially as the trailers and TV spots have all made it clear that without Steve Rogers around, they really don't get along.

This dynamic promises to be a highlight in the Disney+ series, and we're going to have much more to share with you about this one over the next week (our review will land next Thursday).

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, a.k.a. The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, a.k.a. The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of Avengers: Endgame, team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities...and their patience.

Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the series also stars Daniel Brühl as Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker.

Take a look at both of these Empire Magazine covers for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier below:

Off topic -

I haven't heard from Ray Fisher in a while. Anyone taking bets on when the next allegation will hit the interwebs? I am thinking the Wednesday after The Snyder Cut hits HBO Max.

@Ha1frican -
Any provocative tweet would make it up here within minutes. He will get his big day when JL comes out and then it's back to community theater.

Just rewatched The Winter Soldier in anticipation of this show. Falcon in that final battle had a pretty cool look. This might be the first time since then he looks better.

As for TWS itself, it's definitely still my favorite. Forgot how good the pacing was and how crazy the story really is (especially compared if such things would happen in the real world).
