THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER "Truth" Stills Highlight Captain America's Shield And THAT Big Cameo

Disney+ has released another batch of stills from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and with them come comments from producer Nate Moore about that major new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Friday's episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier introduced Julia Louis-Dreyfus's Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, a character with a rich comic book history who looks set to play a major role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward.

That was emphasised by producer Nate Moore during a recent interview with Marvel.com.

"Whenever we talked about Valentina, even in the writer's room, she was sort of a more acerbic, funnier, but darker Nick Fury," he teased. "Someone who knows her secrets, who's not afraid to operate in the moral gray area, but maybe who isn't as inherently altruistic."

"Having a character like Valentina in the show, and actually in the MCU, is really interesting because I think she'll be making more waves sooner rather than later."

With these comments comes another batch of stills from "Truth," revealing an official look at Valentina Allegra de Fontaine alongside John Walker after he was stripped of his Captain America title. There are also some fantastic stots of Sam Wilson wielding the shield after taking it from the former Cap; and we get to see more of Bucky's confrontation with Baron Zemo.

In our review of Friday's episode, we concluded by saying "Flag Smasher and her crew continue to underwhelm, but another strong character-driven episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier nicely sets the stage for a finale that is likely to be a game-changer for the MCU."

So is she going to run the Thunderbolts in a Disney+ series?

Fun fact: I've only ever seen Julia Louis-Dreyfus act on a few episodes of Arrested Development. She'll totally be 'Val from the MCU' for me from now on.

I'm not sure i'd class this as a 'Big' cameo . She's a TV actress who is appearing in essentially a TV show. Pretty much par for the course if you ask me
