We recently caught a low-res version of this TV spot for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Marvel Studios has now released it in HD.
The highlight is once again seeing Baron Zemo in action, and it's fair to say the character looks amazing in his comic accurate costume. One intriguing theory online is that he dons the mask because it bears a resemblance to Thanos (a good way to taunt the Avengers). After all, if Zemo wants rid of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, then following in the Mad Titan's footsteps would make sense.
There's a huge amount of excitement surrounding this show, especially as so much of the plot has been kept under wraps. As this preview emphasises, though, a big focus is going to be on finding the Marvel Cinematic Universe's new Captain America.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, a.k.a. The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, a.k.a. The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of Avengers: Endgame, team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities...and their patience.
Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the series also stars Daniel Brühl as Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker.
