HAWKEYE Concept Art Reveals A Completely Different Take On Pizza Dog Alongside Clint Barton And Kate Bishop

Marvel Studios concept artist Wes Burt has shared some of his work from Disney+'s Hawkeye, including a drastically different take on everyone's favourite Pet Avenger, Pizza Dog! Check it out right here...

Coming out so close to Spider-Man: No Way Home meant Hawkeye ended up being somewhat overshadowed. Vincent D'Onofrio's return as The Kingpin also loomed large over the series, making it easy to forget that this show was one of the best efforts we've seen from Marvel Studios on Disney+.

There was a lot to love about the series, though it was Pizza Dog who arguably stole more hearts than any other character.

However, this newly revealed concept art from Wes Burt shows that the labrador very nearly became a scruffy stray! We're sure he'd have been just as adorable, though this would have obviously been a departure from what fans are used to seeing in the comic books (primarily Matt Fraction and David Aja's Hawkeye run).

It wouldn't have been the end of the world to shake things up a little, but we are glad to have seen the "classic" Pizza Dog in action. Hopefully, he'll continue to play a role in the MCU, though there's currently no word on when or where Clint Barton and Kate Bishop will next show up. You'd think season 2 would have been announced by now, but it hasn't happened...yet!

Burt also shared some of his other Hawkeye designs, and we've included those below as they're all very cool. One of them, as the artist explains, even pays homage to The Warriors!

Take a closer look at this new Hawkeye concept art in the Instagram posts below:

That’s a lot of words in an article for just an Instagram post,

Suggestion: How about you just create a section called “social speaking” where you can cut and paste the social media posts that pretty much already contain the context from the original poster. That way you don’t have to clog the home page with an article replete with filler just to give it some body.

Let’s be real, this really isn’t front page worthy either.

@SpaceParanoids - Probably most users don't access other sections of the website and just look at main. Then, when there is a slow day he sees himself against the wall trying to find content to make it seem like there are new things in the main, and then things like this and top 10 lists happen.

@SpaceParanoids - They need an overhaul of the site's structure, in order to invite users to check other sections. They think the solution is creating countless sister sites that no one cares about, when probably they should put everything in one place and create distinct sections for everything. But that would require work and it's easier to just create pointless articles. It's like when you fill a thesis with bullshit when you can't be bothered to do more research and just wanna pass instead of getting a good mark.

@Urubrodi - I have to agree with you. And if by chance we do see an interesting article on one of those sister sites that they place on this home page, we can’t even comment on it because it requires a totally separate login. That’s pretty dumb.

Even though it didn't come together all that well in the finale because had a few too many story threads going, I still like this show the most out of the D+ shows.

Nice to see that much of the concept phase made it into the final product. The costume design was great stuff in my opinion.

I'm so happy we got a proper GenZ Kate Bishop w the oversized coat and wide leg pants outside of her tactical wear. Those skinny jeans and tiny puffer are so outdated.
