INHUMANS Ratings Hit A New Low For The Show's Underwhelming Season 1 Finale

Are you excited about Inhumans season two? Well, you can probably forget about it ever becoming a reality based on the ratings for the finale which aired this past Friday! Hit the jump for details...

On a week by week basis, the ratings for Inhumans have steadily dropped. It kicked off its run with an underwhelming 3.75 million viewers for its two-hour premiere which was shown on IMAX screens and plummetted the second week to 2.78 million. By the time the finale aired last Friday, ratings were down to 1.89 million viewers, a new series low for the ABC series during its final week on the network.

That's a really bad number but so was the finale! Maximus was left buried beneath Atillan and Black Bolt and the rest of the royal family fled to Earth alongside the Inhuman people ready to start over.

If a second season were to happen (and it more than likely won't), that means it will take place entirely on Earth, an underwhelming setting after Attilan was wasted in season one. It's possible this could lead to the royal family getting some superhero costumes but the final episode didn't even feature Medusa using her hair, so it's hard to imagine this disappointing effort from Marvel TV ever making amends.

What do you guys think? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on these numbers below.

@blitzburgh - LOL, what's up man. The offense really needs to wake up for the last stretch of games. We're going to need home field throughout the playoffs.

I still haven't watched it guys....is it really a trainwreck?

Who wants to bet that they jump over to AOS if there's no season 2?
