During Comic-Con, we learned that Iron Fist will return to Netflix on September 7th and we got a brief - but unrevealing - teaser trailer. Now, a much more exciting version has been released depicting a flashback to a bloody battle between Danny Rand and Davos as they battle for the right to face Shou-Lao the Undying. Both of them are decked out in a classic Iron Fist costume as well (it looks great). 

With any luck, we'll get to see an updated, present-day version for the hero in season two because that's long overdue and this one sequence featuring the costume simply won't be satisfying for fans. 

It's pretty clear that Iron Fist season two is going to try and redeem the series after Scott Buck's disastrous work on the show, so it would definitely be surprising not to see the costume by the time the finale rolls around (sooner, hopefully). What do you guys think? As always, sound off below.

Well credit where credit's due...they are clearly learning. Granted the first teaser didn't show the mask and we only got a costume for a flashback so who knows if we will see much of it, but we'll wait and see (p.s. I don't read Iron Fist so I don't have a fondness for the suit, just find it as a way of giving the show focus and allowing a stunt double to more easily be inserted).

@Ronan3Accuser - True. I think the main problem with this show is Finn Jones. Not because he can't fight (easily fixable with some training and maybe stunt doubles), but because the guy can't act. He either overreacts most of the time, or keeps the same disgruntled face in every scene he's in.

Sounds like I'm nitpicking but his line delivery & voice sucks as Danny Rand/IronFist. I think personally he was miscast....

The mask should probably be a little more like a helmet than fabric. That would make more sense and would probably look better.

@Nightwing1015 - It should be like a blend between Captain America and daredevil with the knot and fabric part only coming from the back of the mask.

Didnt hate the first season, even if it was kinda messy. Looking forward to this one. Danny was great is Luke Cage S2.

@rebellion - I feel the same way. While I was watching s1, I kept wondering what everyone else was watching cause I enjoyed it. Yeah, I had a few gripes about it, but I can say the same for any show.

I haven't finished Luke Cage S2 yet, so I still don't know how Danny was in that. But I'm actually looking forward to this more than the rest of Luke Cage
