Following yesterday's "Her Way" trailer for the upcoming second season of Marvel's Jessica Jones, Netflix has debuted nine new official stills.

The images mostly feature our hard-drinking heroine (Krysten Ritter) as she delves deeper into her mysterious past, but also get new looks at several familiar supporting players such as Jeri Hogarth, Trish Walker, and Malcolm Ducasse.

In addition, there's another shot of returning villain Kilgrave, and a brand new character known as Oscar.

Jessica doesn't appear to be too concerned about what's coming in this shot, but that'll all change pretty soon.

Jones will once again head into the NYC suburbs in an attempt to get some answers.

Never change, Jess. Never change.

Trish (Rachael Taylor) looks to be having a fairly intense little chat with Jeri (Carrie-Anne Moss).

Malcolm (Eka Darville) became a sidekick of sorts to Jessica at the end of season 1... whether she likes it or not.

Jeri at Jessica's office. The shady attorney appears to be up to no good.

David Tennant will return as Jones' sadistic tormentor, Kilgrave. It's assumed that the villain will manifest as an hallucination or some sort, but he looks very real here.

Jessica's new neighbor Oscar (J.R. Ramirez) and his young son. We still have no idea how these guys will fit into the story, but they appear to be in some sort of trouble in this shot.

Is it time to start getting concerned yet? Jess does not seem to like what she's discovered here.

Hopefully she matures a bit this season, I don't feel like her character has grown much. Matt Murdoch, Frank Castle, heck even Danny Rand have all developed since their first episode.

Anyways, looking forward to Kilgrave reappearing. First season was good, so hopefully this season is even better!

Any word if they're bringing Nuke back? At this point it would make more sense to save him for Daredevil since they're adapting Born Again.

@blackandyellow - in the trailer released yesterday, Nuke was featured. Now much of his footage (there wasn't much of him) was from season 1, but I thought there was a still or two that I didn't recognize.

@HeavyMetal4Life - I think they should use Gladiator or Bullseye in place of Nuke for S3.

Starting to get worried about New Warriors. I know it's old news that it slipped out of Freeform's schedule and Marvel decided to take it elsewhere (to get it on the air sooner), but Marvel isn't allowed to take it anywhere that isn't owned by Disney, so it's basically in limbo unless maybe Hulu swoops in.

...I seriously just want to see that pilot... Even some set photos would hold me over.

I reckon Kilgrave is going to be a manifestation of Jessica conscience, much like Harry was in Dexter.

Well, hope is done well. First season was good and was my second favourite show just behind DD but the Punisher changed that. Now is DD, Punisher and JJ.

Luke Cage and Iron Fist is where Marvel dropped the ball.

didnt killgrave take an experimental serum in or near the apt with the garbage disposal? I thought that was their resurrection out.

@scapegoatjones - I really don't see how they can bring him back, and I don't think they would. Not alive, anyway. I thought at first she was going to have him invade her thoughts as another violation, but the trailer makes me think it's the opposite. I think she's gonna hesitate to do what needs to be done, and "conjure him" for advice. She's the one who's gonna seek him out. Which could be really cool.

I love JJ, absolutely adore her, the character since the time I picked the first issue of her series to the TV show. She's one of my favorite CB characters, but I have close to zero hope this second season will be as good as the first. I really hope I'm wrong.
