We're just over a month before Jessica Jones starts streaming on Netflix, but those who attended Marvel's New York Comic-Con panel yesterday got to see the full first episode of the Marvel series. And many of those lucky folks naturally took to social media to share their impressions of the pilot, and they are all quite overwhelming. Judging by the tweets below, Jessica Jones is not only another hit for Marvel, but it also seems to be darker and more mature than anything we've seen from the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far (even Daredevil). From the introduction of lesbian characters, to an intense sex scene featuring the titular heroine detective, find out what folks are saying below!

Marvel's Jessica Jones will follow the titular superheroine "after a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint" and as she is now "rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in NYC." Starring Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Rachel Taylor (Trish Walker), David Tennant (Kilgrave) among others, the 13-episode Jessica Jones series will premiere on Netflix Nov., 20, 2015.

thanks for the cliffnotes! That description sounds so awesome. Also, with the Ant man and wasp announcement as well as the praising for the show, I think I may have fell in love with Marvel all over again. I can genuinely say that Marvel is a big factor in why I'm very satisfied with life.

I'm never able to keep track of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when it airs. I really liked the second season but I'm patient enough to wait for the third season to come to netflix. I've recently started flash and season 3 of Arrow, I'm speechless at how bad both are, I don't wanna be mean to the fans but Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D. with all of its faults(faults that are being fixed, and made better constantly) it is soooooo much better, the pilot for flash was unbearable, I'm going to power through and hope there is a silver lining, we'll see. But to be perfectly honest I'm just watching them as filler until Jessica Jones comes out

send me the link but I'm debating whether or not I should watch it, because I usually wait to binge.

I read the spoiler stuff for the first episode, but yeah, the production value sounds amazing, though I'm curious as to what Lash looks like, does he really look bad?

It's going to be great to see haters eat their words as they tried to brush this show off early on as Jessica Jones was "too unknown" or "too obscure" of a character. LMAO like that actually matters. Nobody knew who Frank Underwood or Walter White were before their shows. Jessica Jones is going to blow people away.

"Marvel’s Cinematic Universe has always had difficulty creating villains that had the same lasting power as their heroes, acting mostly as obstacles at best and stepping stones at worst for the heroes in their paths. Here though, expect to see Tennant ascend to the same level as Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Vincent D’onfrio’s Wilson Fisk as one of the cornerstones of villainy in the MCU."

"Jessica Jones marks another amazing notch in the belt of Marvel’s Netflix deal, exploring a world that few comic book movies and television shows have dared to enter. Without a doubt, this premier episode will reel you in hook, line, and sinker, leaving you gasping from the surprises it has in store. This fall, Jessica Jones may be the show to beat!"

"★★★★★ Excellent — One of the best pilots ever."

Damn...!

I imagine Lash looks perfectly fine, just people making a fuss for nothing again. But another reason I'd prefer to wait and binge is because I was hoping to watch it for the first time with my lady friend, netflix would be very convenient for the situation, I'm still somewhat anxious to get in the show real quick as you said, but considering Jessica Jones is about a month off and so much more is coming up I've got the patience to wait, and hopefully I get a payoff. Another problem though is I can't think of one series that I followed as it was airing, so I'm sort of bad at keeping track of shows, plus I live in Canada and have no idea which network the show airs on, it is sort of a hassle.

Damn, the Daredevil digs go hard. My thoughts are that each Netflix show should be better than the previous season of its predecessor. Build on what came before. So Daredevil season 2 should be better than JJ season one and so on with all the Netflix shows.

How does one go darker than Daredevil? I thought that was the darkest CBM by far from any studio.

Jessica Jones might not be for kids apparently,

So bloody excited!
