LOKI Rumored To Feature An Appearance From Jonathan Majors' Kang The Conqueror

We know that Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will feature Lovecraft Country star Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, but could the Marvel villain make his debut in the Disney+ Loki series?

We recently found out that Lovecraft Country's Jonathan Majors had been cast in Ant-Man 3 (now titled Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania), and is believed to be playing powerful Marvel Comics villain Kang the Conqueror. This would mark the character's big-screen debut, but could we see him show up on Disney+ first?

On the latest episode of The Post-Credit Podcast, host and Observer Senior Entertainment Reporter Brandon Katz reveals that he's heard from reliable sources that Kang will make an appearance in the upcoming Loki series. No other details are provided, but this wouldn't actually be the first time Kang has been rumored for this show.

Back in February, before Majors was even cast in the role, there were reports that the character might factor into the Disney+ series in some capacity, so there might well be some truth to this.

Loki recently debuted its first trailer, though no official premiere date has been set. The show will see the return of Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief, along with Sophie Di Martino (Yesterday), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beauty and the Beast), Richard E. Grant (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker), and Owen Wilson (Wedding Crashers) in undisclosed roles.

Kate Herron (Daybreak) will direct, while Michael Waldron (Rick & Morty) wrote the series and is on board as showrunner.

What do you guys make of this rumor? Do you think Loki would be a good place for Kang the Conqueror to make his MCU debut? Drop us a comment down below.

It’s time and all Kang has is time so it makes sense. I think it’ll be like a flashback like another character talking about him

The MCU seems to give new more grounded/believable origins to many characters. I wonder if Kang will have once been a member of the TVA that went rogue for personal reasons. Maybe they'll refer to him as a rogue agent or founder

@TomK725 - I’m pretty sure it’s Kang’s face on the wall between the two timekeepers in the courtroom scene. It definitely has Jonathan Major’s nose.

Out of everything else besides Quantumania (and Fantastic Four, of course) that Marvel Studios has coming out, an appearance here makes the most sense.
