With the Boston Red Sox closing out the World Series on Sunday night and winning their ninth World Series championship, The Gifted returned with an all-new episode tonight that picked up almost immediately after the events of the previous installment, which ended in devastating fashion as Andy (Percy Hynes White) KO'd his sister (Natalie Alyn Lind) and the Inner Circle escaped with a dangerous mutant, who we learned is named Rebecca, a.k.a. Twist (Anjelica Bette Fellini).
While we still have yet-to-see what Reeva has planned for her, we did learn that she has the ability to essentially turn things inside out, which is definitely not good news for the Mutant Underground. TV Line's description of her also doesn't paint a pretty picture, “smart and charismatic, though years of confinement and abuse in a mental health facility have left her traumatized – and she was damaged goods to begin with. Although she initially comes across as a sweet, wounded bird, over time her real personality will emerge: fun, flirty and totally amoral… a sociopath who lives for chaos.”

The Inner Circle prepares for a secret ambush, but Polaris is reluctant to join and Reeva tasks Esme with getting Polaris on board. Esme confides in Polaris, revealing her and her sisters' troublesome past. Meanwhile, Thunderbird trains Reed on controlling his powers and The Purifiers attack The Mutant Underground as they attempt to rescue a group of homeless mutants in the all-new "iMprint" episode of THE GIFTED airing Tuesday, Nov. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Action-adventure family drama THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers.
