WANDAVISION Poster May Tease A Comic-Accurate Costume For Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch

We got a look at the first promo poster for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier earlier on, and now some official artwork for another Disney+ Marvel series, WandaVision, has been revealed. Check it out...

The poster for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was unveiled earlier today at the D23 Expo, and now we have our first look at some artwork for WandaVision.

As previously rumored, it looks like the Disney+ series will indeed focus on Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) living out a nuclear family-style fantasy life in what appears to be a '60s setting. The couple looks blissfully happy, but the shadow on the wall behind Vis may suggest something sinister if afoot.

It's been pointed out that the silhouette actually looks like the costume Wanda wears in the comic books, which may hint that we'll see her suit-up on the show.

What do you guys think? Check out the poster below and let us know in the comments. We'll update with a higher-quality version as soon as one becomes available.

I'm surprised when I see people put this on top of their lists for most hyped D23 shows. I thought it'd be at the bottom with What If, but I'm glad to see it the other way around.

I just realised that this comes out literally right before Doctor Strange 2. Gonna be interesting.

@Kurne - I know two people who tuned in to the MCU because of Robert Downey, Jr. and have now lost interest. But, they are not comic book fans so they are looking at this the way many others are.

People are saying it's the headpiece and it looks more like a werewolf to me, but it's crazy to see them lean so hard into the fake paradise idea they've cooked up which is going to easily make this one of the most unique things Marvel's ever done

Oh please please please suit her up. And please please please please call her the Scarlet Witch. And please please please please please have her learn witchcraft.

Probably one my least favourites of the Phase 4 slate, particularly due to how they have been treated in the films... but I'll watch it anyway.

Olsen and Bettany are amazing and have great chemistry.

I think that the order of my interest in the Phase 4 is:

1. Moon Knight.
2. Doc Strange 2.
3. Falcon and Winter Soldier.
4. She-Hulk.
5. Thor 4.
6. Sang-Chi.
7. Eternals.
8. What-If.
9. Ms Marvel.
10. Loki.
11. Wandavision.
12. Black Widow.
13. Hawkeye.

So to me it looks like the "Scarlet Witch Shadow" is projected behind Vision. Could that be a hint that he is actually a creation from using her powers to alter her reality?

I know I heard a rumor that he wasn't gonna be brought back from the dead (at least not yet) and was just a figment of her imagination

1. Thor: Love and Thunder
2. Black Widow
3. WandaVision
4. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Though the top 4 are a virtual tie.

5. Eternals
6. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
7. Hawkeye
8. Falcon and Winter Soldier
9. Moon Knight
10. She-Hulk
11. Ms. Marvel
12. Loki
13. What if

The theme has got to be a upbeat 40s big band piece, something with a lot of horns. While I liked the visuals, I was never really wild for the opening songs for the Netflix shows. I mean, they were okay but they were also just kind of ... there. Not really tied into the shows themselves, which I'm hoping this one gets. Toss in an over-the-top narrator introducing the characters and I won't even care what the rest of the episode is.

First it was the 50s inspired TV logo, then the actual name WandaVision which sounds like television (or a TV brand), the show being inspired by a sitcom, and now the TV in the poster glowing red.

TV seems to be a big thing with this show.

It’s definitely Scarlett Witch with comic accurate headpiece in the shadow. The full version of the poster is doing the rounds on Twitter and Visions shadow is next to her with the mind stone clearly showing. Can’t wait to see where they go with this show!

In fact the living room looks so much like a a set for a TV sitcom.

This one is gonna be bonkers.

@ Nomis Good call :)

I always had a real soft spot for the Scarlett Witch, looking forward to seeing her descent into grief and madness, but hoping Dr.Strange will assist in bringing her back to reality - do we really need to see another powerful female go bonkers (thinking of Jean Greys Phoenix here)

@ Kurne

My top five out of the thriteen properties we have coming are :

Moon Knight (the avatar should suggest why this is so)
Black Widow - looks like another Winter Soldier type movie so i'm sold on this
WandaVision - its going to be crazy different and Wanda (nuff said)
Dr.Strange and the Multiverse of Madness - title says it all + Wanda
Shang Chi - about time we had some real martial arts in the MCU

For some reason I am anticipating this show a lot, IDK. Might be the idea behind it of an adventure sitcom and I think it's what Wanda and Vision deserve after the events of the movies. And the supporting cast of Kat Dennings and Randall Park.

I think Monica Rambeau will become an asset in their adventures, whatever they end up being.

Great poster.

@benjithegreat - It's "hit or miss". I always have to "refresh" the page, go back to the place where I was trying to "Reply" or "Like" and try again. From what I have read here, someone behind the scenes is working on fixing it.

@ SpardaJr

I really have no idea where they are going to go with the Dr.Strange movie - maybe nightmare will be somehow influencing Wanda. I could see Wanda being the antagonist, but I imagine Mordo and Nightmare will be fulfilling those roles. I really would prefer to see Dr.Strange teaching Wanda by the end of the movie.

In my ideal world, Dr.Strange 3 would be team-up (Defenders) movie against the dread Dormanu :)

@ TheUnworthyThor - Agreed, I really want her to be studying with Dr.Strange by the end of the movie.

Wanda is going to kidnap Vision from another universe. So she will destabilize the multiverse and we will see the consequences in Doctor Strange 2.
