Comic Book Movies snubbed again at the MTV movie Awards

The nominees for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards have been unleashed and Wolverine stands alone.........................................

Another year - another probable sweep by a Twilight movie at the MTV Movie Awards. You can head over to MTV now and vote. But there's really only ONE CBM to help out and in only one category (not counting a Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen nod) - so head over to MTV and represent. Hopefully Twilight won't taint this awards show two years in a row. It's kind of sad that Watchmen was neglected so much and our only option is the quick fight from Wolverine.



Best Fight:
Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber vs. Ryan Reynolds (X-Men Origins: Wolverine)
Beyoncé Knowles vs. Ali Larter (Obsessed)
Logan Lerman vs. Jake Abel (Percy Jackson And The Olympians: The Lightning Thief)
Robert Downey Jr. vs. Mark Strong (Sherlock Holmes)
Sam Worthington vs. Stephen Lang (Avatar)

Also on another note - Sharlto Copley is nominated in a new category for best "scared as sh!t" performance....So as awful as that name is - go show some love for the "District 9" star as well. Zoe Saldana is nominated for best actress and she deserves it for "Avatar." Other than that, there's not much to motivate a voting spree. The show is Sunday, June 6th. So let's launch Barakapool to the heavens and get Wolverine some love - even though it probably doesn't deserve it.

New moon is gunna get all the awards...again. You wanna know why Twilight always gets the awards? because
1. Twitards vote for Twilight a dozen times
2. Twitards don't have taste in good movies
3. A majority of the people who vote are Twilight fans

I remember watching last years MTV awards. It just proved the total incompetence and psychotic obsession with Twishite. It actually managed to piss me off. Won't be watching again this year, or probably any other year for that matter. Last year's ruined it for me.

Why bother watching it, the shows rigged. Like the spike game awards, no one goes there for the games, its nothing but shameless actors whoring themselves for a phony red carpet and an event that doesn't need to take place

well there are really multiple reasons why I stopped being a crazed twitard. One of the main reasons is just age. Twilight's main age group is mostly girls ages 10-13 and once I became 14 I kinda got bored. Then I realized why I liked Twilight in the first place. Wish fulfillment. It was just soo easy to put myself in Bella's shoes and live out her perfect life. You know get to be popular, pretty, have sex with a sparkly fagpire, and be...perfect. Twilight wasn't that perfect book I had once imagined it being. It promoted domestic violence, the characters were mary/gary sues, full of cliches, and turned preteens into mindless twitards who write stuff like:
OMG!!!!!11!! Twilight iz da best ting eva! all u guyz r jelous of stephenie meyerz gweat riting abilities! EDWARD IZ SOO HAWT!!!1! I'M GUNNA MARRY EDWARD!

Hurm. I used to like to watch the MTV Movie Awards, as they sometimes were really funny, and a nice alternative to the "serious" awards. But the Twilight madness alone is a reason just not to watch it.

And vote for Wolverine? Can't do that, sorry. Avatar will win anyway. If Liev was up for best villain I might consider giving him my vote...

Twilight New Moon sucked. It was stupid, glittering vampires and werewolves that were just big dogs. Story dragged on and the acting was horrible.

You guys do realize that all the bad things that u are saying about twilight ... most of the twilight fans are saying about cbm's right? Same as star wars vs star trek ... everyone has their preference. if u say that peeps that like twilight are lame, well some people will say that you/we are lame for liking cbm's. me? i like both. mind u i was dissapointed by new moon but still, twilight is a movie that i enjoy watching now and then cause, in my opinion, it has an interesting plot, new take on vampires (vegetarian vamps is very original) and it has ashley greene and anna kendrick (prom dress cleavage scene..c'mon, thts hot!). anyways all this to say.. chill guys ... so twilight gets mtv awards, big deal ... cbm's have comic con right? nways ... love twilight, hated new moon, cant wait for green lantern, hated wolverine origins, have yet to watch iron man2, loved transformers, was soo dissapointed with transformers 2 ... peace!

Actually, no. They're invading, no scratch that, "INFECTING" comic con as well and MTV awards are fair game. But, you're right, to each's own. Twilight's lame.

The fights were bad. Wolverine can't take on Barakapool alone and gets help from Sabretooth. Then he gets owned by a bullet. Everything about the fights were ridiculous.

Did people forget about the Wolverine that could take on Hulk for a short while?
