@Nomis and @dethpillow

That would be amazing if adapted. I honestly think WB should pick it up since they have a good track record fantasy films

As of right now This show is the show I'm most looking forward to with a winter premiere. When we get the mid season finales of AoS, Flash, and Arrow one or all of their mid season premieres may trump it though.

@dethpillow:

Still waiting. David Ayer would do one PHENOMENAL job:

And, written by Blue Oyster Cult and Michael Moorcock:

More of the artwork from my favorite paperbacks of The Elric Saga:

And, from the band Hawkwind, with Michael Moorcock himself on keyboards:

THE CHRONICLE OF THE BLACK SWORD!

It would blow some fecking minds, especially if it were made into a trilogy.

And then, a Corum Jhaelen Irsei trilogy (Knight of Swords, Queen of Swords, King of Swords) then a full Hawkmoon trilogy.

That would be freaking unbelievable, @dethpillow. And, with the cost of CGI so low these days, it could be done pretty cheap, and garnering an R rating would not hurt its chances of making some profit.

OR....a Netflix or HBO series of each!!!!!!!

@dethpillow: Saw those Cirith Ungol album covers when I worked at a "record store" (YES, my young padawans, we actually had THOSE before the Internet) in high school, 1981-1982 and after high school, 1983-1985. Never listened to that band. But thanks for the link. I like what I'm hearing so far.

You know another band I never really listened to, but probably should have? Uriah Heep.

They sound really boss. Kinda like a blend of Grand Funk Railroad and Led Zeppelin.

Also: Nazareth: "No Mean City".

Saw them and Thin Lizzy in 9th grade. Smoked something in a joint I never quite figured out. But the backdrop, that Rodney Matthews painting from the album cover, was on a backdrop on the set, and a wind came through the stadium moving the canvas back and forth, and it seemed to melt.

One unbelievable concert. And this song has stuck with me through the ages.

Oh, and yeah, excited for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Hey, @dethpillow, just foryou:

Found a shot of me at an Iggy Pop concert, on the reunion tour with The Stooges, from 2007. I got to meet Iggy that night, after the show, for the second time (first time I had had drinks with him in the French Quarter in New Orleans in 1980, I was friends with his girlfriend, and her mom and dad at the time).

I got the best job of my life when I checked my phone messages after that concert in 2007.

And fecked it all the hell up.

But STILL one HELL of a concert!

Yup, that's me from a video of the concert:
