Katherine Langford's Avengers: Endgame scenes never made the final cut, but the young actress will now appear as an iconic character from Arthurian legend in Netflix's adaptation of Frank Miller's Cursed.

It's a shame that we never got to see Katherine Langford as an older version of Morgan Stark in Avengers: Endgame (though her scenes may well end up on the Blu-ray), but the young 13 Reasons Why actress has lined up another juicy role as the lead in Netflix's Cursed, and we have a first look at her character, Nimue, right here.

The series is based on the upcoming graphic novel from Tom Wheeler and Frank Miller, and will focus on a young girl with a mysterious power who is destined to become the tragic Lady of the Lake from Arthurian legend.

Cursed is a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of Nimue, a teenage heroine with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake. After her mother’s death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a young mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther.

Always love films/shows showing the Arthurian legends. Hopefully this is good, huge fan of the lore.

Also, on the Arthurian topic...King Arthur with Clive Owen is a severely underrated film. Even if they strayed away from source of the legend.

@knocturnalzen10 - I haven't read either but I like Arthurian legend. I do plan to read it.

I like his non DC, Marvel stuff. I really liked Ronin. Would love a movie for that.

I was surprised when I saw this pic and heard of the story belonged to Frank Miller. I thought as well that the only Nimue that existed was the Blood Queen from Hellboy. 😅

Seems interesting. 🧐
