Wednesday is set to premiere on November 23, and Netflix has now officially released the show's creepy, kooky, more than a little spooky opening credits sequence.

The animated opening features the usual horror-related imagery you'd expect, while spotlighting Danny Elfman's theme. The legendary Batman composer does incorporate elements of the classic The Addams Family tune, while retaining that unmistakable Elfman vibe.

We also have a new featurette spotlighting the various ghosts, vampires, werewolves, gorgons and other magical/monstrous students of the Nevermore Academy. The promo also includes interviews with Tim Burton and the cast.

Check out the opening credits and featurette in the players below.

Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as the title character, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsly, and Thing... as Thing.

The coming-of-age comedy series, which has Al Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville, Into the Badlands) on board as showrunners, is said to be "a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore."

Burton will make his TV directing debut with the show, and will also executive produce alongside Jonathan Glickman, Andrew Mittman, Kayla Alpert, Gail Berman, Steve Stark, and Kevin Miserocchi.
