THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Featured A Blink-And-You'd-Miss-It Cameo From THE MANDALORIAN Character

Today's episode of The Book of Boba Fett featured a lot of cool moments and surprises, but did you spot a familiar figure from The Mandalorian? Check out the blink-and-you'd-miss-it cameo right here...

Most of today's episode of The Book of Boba Fett was devoted to exploring the former bounty hunter's new role as Tatooine's crimelord, but a flashback to what happened after his escape from the Sarlacc Pit took Fett to Mos Eisley. He's clearly been with the Tusken Raiders for some time at this point because we see Stormtrooper helmets mounted on spears following the fall of the Empire.

Fett seems unfazed that his one-time employer is no more, though we know he's only ever really been loyal to himself (at least before being accepted by Tatooine's Sand People).

As Boba rides through the spaceport, a familiar character can be seen in the background walking with her Pit Droids: Peli Motto. Played by Amy Sedaris, she first appeared in The Mandalorian and ended up being one of many key allies to Din Djarin over the course of the show's first two seasons.

Motto would even strike up something of a bond with Grogu, and quickly became something of a fan-favourite supporting character. Seeing her here makes for a fun Easter Egg, and we can't help but wonder whether Fett could cross paths with her during his adventures in these flashbacks. If not, then this is still a fun way to connect both shows for fans keeping a watchful eye for such references.

Take a look at this Easter Egg from today's episode of The Book of Boba Fett below:

Can’t wait until they start exploring other planets more on these shows. I like how Mando does.

I understand Obi-Wan has to be on Tatooine, but outside of that show I hope we see very little of it going forward.

The second ep was amazing for me, but this one was kinda like the first one, pretty meh tbh.

The flashbacks were hella interesting but it was basically just a scene, hopefully they will dedicate an entire ep for that plot.

Talk about the kinda evil that must be fought without hesitation, without pity.

Was that even Amy Sedaris? Seems like it might’ve been a double in a wig.

I went into this show with low expectations just because I was never that big of a fan of the character, but man....do I love this show.

I watched it after just binging S2 of Mando beforehand and man, I love where Star Wars is going and Favreau/Filoni at the head of it.

@Menks123 - love it as well.

Has some visual tonality inconsistencies but overall FAR better than K. Kennedy’s artistic ‘vision’

@SauronthePower - Well, people can give her shit all they want but at least she put those two at the head of it all to do stuff, which I am grateful for.

Was loving the episode until the 5mph speeder chase. That felt SO out of place.

********* POTENTIAL SPOILER TALK BELOW ****************

Seeing Danny Trejo enter the Star Wars universe as a Rancor trainer made me stand up and applaud in my own living room, with no one else around LOL.

Was his ability to sunburn removed through the cloning process?

That was good. But I missed it because of the helmets on spikes was the focus. Had my brother mention her cameo to me to realise. Very good detail though.

The biker gang and the East London accent is absolutely awful. Not Star Wars at all. Worse than all 6 sequels and prequels. Jesus what is happening!!!

@MarvelousMarty - have to disagree

7-9 are legitimately terrible on every level. Kanja Gang was literally a 200+ million version of this very thing

Danny Trejo cameo was nice, but I'm hoping Shand isn't a traitor. I'm liking her partnership with Fett.

I think the story has been entertaining so far, but not particularly good, if that makes sense. It's a very watchable show, but I don't really buy into much of it. People's motivations seem a mystery, especially Fett's, as well as that of anyone who follows him.

Part of the problem is that I have no real idea who Fett is supposed to be. The set-up post credit scene from the Mandalorian had him and Shand just come in murdering everyone in cold blood to take the throne. But in his actual show set after that scene? No hint of that kind of ruthlessness.

I'm sorry but.....Why the [frick] does Boba Fett have The Power Rangers backing him up? I mean come on

What a waste of Danny Trejo and Stephen Root. And the scooter gang on their rainbow bikes… man, this show needs a new show runner. This has now become a hate-watch for me. Which is a shame because I liked Mandalorian. But they’ve made Boba Fett too nice.

Not gonna lie...this show has been a real disappointment for me. The storyline is meh at best and it feels like they're working with some new random character. He just just't feel....Boba Fett-ish. And, no, I don't know exactly what that is, but I know it ain't this show.
