THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT First Clip Sees The Bounty Hunter Reflect On Jabba The Hutt's Rule Over Tatooine

Very little has been revealed from The Book of Boba Fett, and with a little over a week to go before its Disney+ debut, don't expect this new clip to shed much light on what's to come!

We find Boba Fett and Fennec Shand surveying their new kingdom on Tatooine, as they discuss the bounty hunter's approach to ruling the planet now Jabba the Hutt is dead and gone. That familiar line about respect instead of fear comes up, though ruling this way is clearly going to be easier said than done.

Talking to People (you can see the clip in HD on their website), Ming-Na Wen shared her gratitude for the way fans have responded to Shand. "It's such a genuinely emotional as well as such a satisfying relief that your character is well received, because the Star Wars fans are very, very strong in their opinions and they know what they like, and it's great when it matches their expectations."

We're keen to find out what surprises The Book of Boba Fett has in store for us, and will be bringing you a spoiler-filled breakdown of that opening chapter shortly after it premieres.

The series stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard, Dave Filoni, Steph Green, and Kevin Tancharoen have all been confirmed to direct episodes of The Book of Boba Fett, but we don't know if any of the filmmakers will be pulling double duty or if there are still more to be announced in the weeks ahead.

The Book of Boba Fett finds the title bounty hunter and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate. The show arrives on Disney+ on December 29.
