THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Spoiler Stills Bring Trouble To Tatooine For "Lord Fett"

Lucasfilm and Disney+ have released a new gallery of stills from "The Streets of Mos Espa," as Lord Fett finds himself facing a whole host of deadly new threats on Tatooine. Check them out after the jump.

Today's episode of The Book of Boba Fetttitled "The Streets of Mos Espa," moved the story along quite a bit quicker than we expected, with both the past and present storylines progressing nicely as we near the midway point of the season. It feels like a lot of big surprises are still to come, while something tells us those rumours of Fett riding a Rancor into action might have been correct!

As per usual, Lucasfilm and Disney+ have now dropped some new stills from the series featuring a handful of key moments from the episode. We see Lord Fett on his throne, while Fennec Shand remains close by as he patrols the streets of Mos Espa (that title is pretty fitting for this one, eh?).

There's also a very cool shot of Fett in his Tusken Raider garb, though the events of today's instalment of The Book of Boba Fett look set to change his status quo in those post-Return of the Jedi flashbacks massively (you can read our full recap of what happened by clicking here).

Robert Rodriguez directed "The Streets of Mos Espa," his second visit to this Galaxy Far, Far Away during this show's first season. Whether there will be another currently remains to be seen.

Check out these new stills from today's episode of The Book of Boba Fett below:

I’m not looking. I enjoyed last episode for how Western it went and I actually like the Tusken subplot. Excited to watch as I just really want more Star Wars. And this is like sex compared to the Sequel Trilogy. It ain’t Mando but it doesn’t need to be as good as Mando. Season 2 finale of Mando and just season 2 in general is gonna be hard to top.

It's official. I just [frick]ing hate every episode Robert Rodriguez directs. He's so freaking bad. I actually enjoyed the story if this episode but it looked so god damn terrible. That slow speed scooter chase with the Alita Battle Angel extras who are now Bobas muscle.... so [frick]ing bad. And are all of Bobas Tuskin buddies dead? Was that the kid and the tribe leader? I couldn't tell who any of them were the way they filmed it.

I'm sorry, I'm trying to like this show, but its just bad to me. The one part I liked about this episode was them keeping a ravenous enslaved gladiator bounty hunter wookie in their dungeon to replace a rancor, I thought that was savage and a cool idea, then the very next scene they are given a rancor... butthen then got to keep the battle wookie! Then he set him free..... in like a span of 5 minutes they took a dope idea and killed it with just doing what Jabba did... now they have a rancor.... yaaaaay......

And I just love how in the PG Disney Star Wars universe there aren't slaves anymore, ore rather they won't ever be mentioned again. So Boba doesn't fly in SLAVE 1 or enslave the rancor, he has to befriend and imprint on him.... get the [frick]....

This episode looked AWFUL visually. So stale. The chase was beyond rough. This shows pales in comparison to Mando, which comparing is inevitable.

Gonna watch it later tonight but so far I've loved some parts, liked some and hated others. Certainly not living up to the hype. Mando was always going to be hard to top or even equal, but with Boba and the characters at their disposal they should be doing a hell of a lot better then this. Agent May is definitely the weakest link, she's just Agent May in every thing. Why the hell not use IG-88, Dengar, Bossk, Zuckuss or 4-LOM? It just writes it's self surely!!!

Also, didn't Jabba have a palace? With like a massive area where there was a bar and dancers and musicians and bad guys everywhere all around his throne.... so why does the PALACE feel like a cubicle, like a little room, when Boba is entertaining guests?

I get Boba is still amassing his entourage but I feel then the Palace should echo when people speak from the size and lack of music and people speaking, it's just Boba and Fennic and the green guys and robot, we should see how massive that underground area is when its empty, but we get 3 shots: looking up at Bobas throne, looking down from bobas throne to the floor and a wall, and the staircase entrance when people walk in. It feels clostraphobic in the palace. And cheap.

@ElricReturns - yep… it’s annoying that the palace is pretty much completely empty. I figured since Bib took over after Jabba died he would have replaced the workers Jabba lost at the Sarlacc pit, plus I figured that there would still be tons of people left at the palace to guard it and keep everything running while Jabba was at the Sarlacc for Bib to boss around.

Best parts of this show was the flashbacks involving the Tuskens.

@AnthonyVonGeek - Yeah I was pretty shocked they killed them off so easily/quickly after last week's episode. They definitely have to bring that Tusken back since we never saw a body.

@Himura - it was so heartbreaking seeing that. I hope the kid lived and shows up again. I can’t remember if I saw the kids body.

The show is pretty good

But they make some silly mistakes

Different color bikes?

BK is suppose to be a badass but hen runs away like

@WakandaTech - BK got stabbed, like, a dozen times and kept fighting, but you’re mad he ran off instead of joining Boba’s enterague?

I feel like Disney stole Boba Fett. I feel like everything we loved about Boba Fett, the edge, the mystery, the rarely taking off his helmet, the bounty hunting... everything that made Boba Fett dope... they gave all that to their "original" character in The Mandalorian, and are now changing Boba Fett to be something else. Helmets always off, not a morally ambiguous cut throat for a price but now a principled man of respect, no longer a bounty hunter.... we don't even get flash backs to his prime when we all really wanted to see him shine and develop. This lazy Logan rip off shit is boring.

I was expecting a little more from the Tusken storyline. Thought the flashbacks were gonna run the coarse of the show. And was half expecting to have a love story thrown in too. That one warrior tusken was gonna disrobe and be revealed to be a broad and lead to some smootchies with Fett.
Spidey91

I'm not sure I like the street gang they introduced. I like the idea of Boba Fett hiring some street punks to fill his ranks but I don't know, they felt a little too Earth-like, almost like they're from a different sci-fi franchise. everyone on Tatooine is covered in robes and dirt and sh*t, in comparison these guys look too clean and out of place with their relatively normal clothes and color-coded bikes. the black guy had some drip though, not gonna lie.
I also feel like this is a lot of setup for a goal that is not too entirely clear yet, outside of the general notion of Boba wanting to change things around Tatooine by being a more respectful lord. Mando was much simpler and easy to get from the get go in that aspect, it was all about protecting the child and getting him to a jedi and wasting everyone that got in the way of that.
PhoenixBlade
PhoenixBlade - 1/12/2022, 11:37 AM
This series was seemingly written from the perspective of the useless Boba in the original trilogy. The man just lets everyone walk all over him. Show the comedic side, show the animal loving side, but for Christ sake the man is supposed to be ruthless.
SerKurtWagner
SerKurtWagner - 1/12/2022, 10:02 PM
@SamaelSaint - Ignoring a little thing called “character development,” according to who? Some fans have this vision of Boba as a savage, amoral killer and there’s literally no backing for it. It’s completely out of synch with his origin in the Prequels in TCW.
PhoenixBlade
PhoenixBlade - 1/13/2022, 5:17 AM
@SerKurtWagner - A vision given to fans because it’s mentioned dozens of times across canon media that he enjoys killing his bounties. Then in legends material we’ve been given a ruthless antihero. Why bother going against what fan love with something that is clearly inferior? Don’t speak on shit you clearly only have minimal knowledge about.
