There’s a lot of excitement around Ewan McGregor’s return to the role of Obi-wan Kenobi for the upcoming Disney+ series and it’s easy to understand why. Obi-wan is an iconic character who has been a huge part of Star Wars since the very beginning. For many of us who grew up during the prequel era, there’s a nostalgic fondness for McGregor’s portrayal of the character. So naturally, his return is a crowd pleaser.
However, I think I’m an outlier among Star Wars fans in that I feel more apprehensive than excited about this series. Check out the video for my thoughts.
