A new trailer for The Mandalorian season 3 will finally debut on ESPN this evening during halftime of the NFL Super Wild Card Game. It feels like we've been waiting a long time for a new look at the Disney+ series, but this trailer teaser should whet your appetites for what's coming our way!

Revealing a few seconds of never-before-seen footage from the series, including an even greater number of Mandalorians, it's worth noting that everything here has previously been described to us from the trailer shown exclusively to those who attended D23. With that in mind, it could be that this latest preview will be exactly the same as that one.

Some of you will be disappointed by that news, while others will no doubt be glad to finally watch it. There's always a chance we'll be surprised, of course, but The Mandalorian has always been a series which has showcased very little footage in trailers as a way of protecting the show's biggest surprises and spoilers.

Either way, you'll want to check SFFGazette.com for the full trailer the second it drops!

Blasting Back Into Action With Grogu At His Side

If the first two seasons proved anything, it's that we can expect some huge surprises, and we do hope that more of Grogu's past will be explored (including who saved him in the Jedi Temple). We're also keen to learn what cloning operation Gideon was working on, why he needed The Child for his mystery plan, and whether that all ties into Supreme Leader Snoke's creation and the rise of The First Order.

"The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue," reads the synopsis. "Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history."

"The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together."

The Mandalorian returns to Disney+ for its third season on March 1.

@kylo0607 - the whole outbreak was done so good. The choppers and fighter jets, the chaos on the street.
Very well done

@kylo0607 - I mean if that first episode is anything to go by, we might just be looking at one of the best adaptations period. It’s giving Dune vibes. You can tell already a lot of love and care has gone into this project.

@PlusUltra - I was gonna this week Pedro Pascal week, but Pedro Pascal year sounds just as appropriate.

Also, he was among the best parts in that movie (even if the twist felt predictable)
