Dean had a rough go of it last night as he nearly lost everything that makes him who he is, but luckily, Rowena stopped by to give Sam a hand in taking down a nasty batch of witches and the unlikely duo was able to restore the elder Winchester to his previous fun-loving self.

Next week, we return to the season's main storyline as Sam, Dean, & Castiel reunite with Mary on an intriguing new case, but the trio is blindsided when they discover she's been working with the über-shady British Men of Letters. Just when it couldn't get any worse, Mary is double-crossed and the British Men of Letters reveal their true intentions, which put Castiel's life in immediate danger.

Check out the new promo for episode twelve, titled "Regarding Dean," below:

"Stuck in the Middle (With You)" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

RICHARD SPEIGHT JR. DIRECTS - Mary (guest star Samantha Smith) asks Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) for help on a case she's working but neglects to mention the British Men of Letters are involved. When Mary is double crossed, everything is revealed. Richard Speight Jr directed the episode written by Davy Perez (#1212). Original airdate 2/16/2017.

In the show’s eleventh season, Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles) faced their greatest challenge yet: the all-powerful Darkness, better known as the sister of God. Freed from her prison by Dean, she threatened all of creation, until God (with the help of Sam, Dean, Castiel and Crowley), made amends with her. Before they left Earth, however, they restored Sam & Dean’s mother, Mary Winchester, to life. In Season Twelve, the Winchesters must not only contend with an escaped Lucifer and the British Men of Letters (who’ve come to end their hunting days), but they’ll also have to relearn what it is to be a family again after all these years.

Supernatural features:
Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester
Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester
Misha Collins as Castiel
Mark A. Sheppard as Crowley
Samantha Smith as Mary Winchester

Tonight's episode was fantastic. Jensen Ackles proving once again he's one of the best actors on television. That moment when he forgot who he was and had nothing but fear and sadness in his eyes was heartbreaking.

@Kr08 - yea that one hit me in the feels too lol. I don't know why this show gets ranked on so much I still find it entertaining. The characters get a good laugh out of me every week. Especially dean and cas.

@Nitric - They've done some really good self effacing humor. I liked the one where they were in a bunch of tv/sitcom/game shows created by Loki. . . .aka. .Gabriel. Dean's sitcom catch phrase. . . . .Son of a bitch!

@GammaSmasher71 - haha I remember that. Good episode. If I remember right they were playing doctors in one of those sitcoms.

The title got me, I thought Castiel was literally fighting Death.

@Matador - Death is already dead as of the season 10 finale.

@MartialArtist92 - Yeah I remember that it was just the wording on the title plus thought there might have been a new Death.

@Matador - Yeah, I thought the same, but didn't they behead Death back when Dean was going all Super Evil from the Mark of Cain?

@GammaSmasher71 - That is correct, and I was starting to like the guy too.

I know people hate on Supernatural for some reasons, but even after 12 seasons, I still enjoy this damn show. I mean there were some bad seasons, but the episodes were still enjoyable and it's mainly due to the two lead actors.

@Lemons - I'm just glad to see the show lighten up here and there. There were a few really dark(but still good of course)seasons.

Yeah, each season has it's down episode or two, but the past 2-3 seasons have been great for me. This season has been getting better with each episode. Last night's episode ranks up there with the episode that was shot entirely from the inside of Baby(the car). Both of those were just excellent in the way they were done. Dean completely carried the entire episode last night. As it has it's down seasons, I still have watched every episode and it's still one of my fav. I look forward to watching this show still each week.
