Luckily for the Winchester brothers, Sam may have found a legitimate plan to stop Lucifer's hellspawn, however, it looks like Castiel may have plans of his own. Meanwhile, Dean discovers the Colt is missing and Kelly makes a decision that could have huge ramifications for the future of mankind.

Check out the new promo for episode nineteen, titled "The Future," below:

"The Future" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

KELLY MAKES A BOLD CHOICE - Sam (Jared Padalecki) comes up with a way to stop Lucifer's (Mark Pellegrino) baby but Castiel (Misha Collins) has something else in mind for Kelly (guest star Courtney Ford). Dean (Jensen Ackles) is furious when he finds out someone stole the colt. Kelly makes a bold choice about the baby's future. Amanda Tapping directed the episode written by Robert Berens & Meredith Glynn (#1219). Original airdate 4/27/2017.

In the show’s eleventh season, Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles) faced their greatest challenge yet: the all-powerful Darkness, better known as the sister of God. Freed from her prison by Dean, she threatened all of creation, until God (with the help of Sam, Dean, Castiel and Crowley), made amends with her. Before they left Earth, however, they restored Sam & Dean’s mother, Mary Winchester, to life. In Season Twelve, the Winchesters must not only contend with an escaped Lucifer and the British Men of Letters (who’ve come to end their hunting days), but they’ll also have to relearn what it is to be a family again after all these years.

Supernatural features:
Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester
Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester
Misha Collins as Castiel
Mark A. Sheppard as Crowley
Samantha Smith as Mary Winchester

@Kr08 - Damn, slept right through it. This show really had great early seasons. Not knocking the later ones, just sayin...

@Nosebleed - Personally, I love the evolution of the show. The first few seasons featured a Sam and Dean that were still kind of rookies. The show also mainly used film, so when the 5th season came along and the show went to the digital filming format, they were taking on the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, pagan gods, and Lucifer.

The brothers grew stronger and with that had to come changes on every level.

@Kr08 - Yeah, early on it felt like Buffy seasons 1&2, dark and funny, and then it got better as the plot progressed and characters more developed. I think I starting getting behind was when they had Castiel, Crowley, and Bobby around, but I remember then being sweet TV.
