Bong Joon-ho's acclaimed sci-fi thriller SNOWPIERCER will finally come to US theaters in its full uncut glory. As reported previews this movie had its share of controversy, not for its content, but due to Harvey Weinstein's involvement and his desire to cut the movie down to make it more appealing for US audiences. Finally, back in February it was reported that a compromise was reached and  SNOWPIERCER would get an uncut US release but unfortunately is only going to be a limited one and not wide like it was originally intended. The cast for Joon-ho Bong's SNOWPIERCER includes Chris Evans, Ed Harris, Jamie Bell, Alison Pill, John Hurt, Tilda Swinton, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Bremner, Kang-ho Song and Luke Pasqualino. SNOWPIERCER will hit US theaters in June 27th.

Isn't a big part of this film spoken in Korean? Hope they don't lie to us like DRIVE lied to us. It'll piss a lot of people off.

@tvor03- Snowpiercer is a much better movie and the comic book its based on came out in 1982.

Am I reading this wrong or is there going to be two versions of this film at the theaters? If there will be two versions I would prefer to see the real version. But seeing as it will only be given a limited release that means it won't be coming to any of the ones near me. So I won't be seeing this movie because I'm not going to pay to see the heavily edited version. I will just wait until it comes out on disc. I do think the film looks like. I can pretty much guess the Hitler lady will die. From the look of the film I think it looks like the Metro book series and games. I like these Eastern Europe style post apocalyptic films. So I hope this movie does well.

This movie was really great, maybe some hiccups towards the end, but Evans performance is top notch.

Was a pretty good movie. It was totally different from what I imagined it to be (in a positive way). Saw it in march or so in a sneak preview. Surprised that it's not even out yet in the US.

Anyone notice both The Human Torch & The Thing are on that train?
Chris Evans as Torch could really use his heat in that world & Jaime Bell as Thing could easily take over the train.

Seems like such a strange premise/concept but I wanna see it.

This is a really really good movie, I loved the every moment of it. The way it was directed, you really hated the bad guys. Chris Evans gives the performance of his life just before he meets Ed Harris. They should make more movies like this, hope it does well, check The Host (2006) directed by Joon-Ho too.
