Carnage Spotted In VENOM: THE LAST DANCE Final Trailer As Speculation Mounts About Recent NYC Reshoots

A closer look at the final trailer for Venom: The Last Dance appears to reveal Carnage, while Spider-Man 4 speculation has gone into overdrive following recent reshoots and secretive social media posts...

Yesterday, we shared the news that Spider-Man 4 may pit Tom Holland's Peter Parker and Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock against Knull, God of the Symbiotes.

The stage for that crossover and clash will reportedly be set in Venom: The Last Dance and, over the past 18 hours, speculation has been running rampant about the threequel's recent New York City reshoots (especially after that big Knull reveal in the final trailer).

The trailers have only shown Mexico and Las Vegas, meaning these scenes are being kept a closely guarded secret and are likely from the later stages of the movie. Then, there's the fact Hardy was in Vegas doing another round of reshoots as recently as this past week.

With Destin Daniel Cretton now confirmed as Spider-Man 4's director, it could make sense for Venom: The Last Dance to undergo a few minor changes that mean it better fits his plans.

Oh, and then there's the small fact that Holland was recently visiting Amy Pascal's office before sharing a photo from a "secret shoot day."

One popular theory is that Eddie Brock dies in Venom: The Last Dance. From there, Venom would use the Symbiote Hive-Mind to transfer his and his former host's memories to Earth-616 where the piece of suit left behind at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home can bond with that reality's Eddie (the Variant seen walking around the Big Apple above, perhaps).

That would also likely be what brings Knull to Earth-616 as he makes his move on the Multiverse between the events of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

Talking of the Hive-Mind, it appears Carnage has been spotted in that following his demise in Venom: Let There Be Carnage. For those of you who don't know, the Symbiote Hive-Mind is a mental and metaphysical realm that psychically connects symbiotes and their ilk to one another and their God, while also serving as an afterlife for deceased symbiotes and their hosts.

In other words, it's entirely possible Carnage could rise from the dead, perhaps as another obstacle for Spider-Man and Venom when they finally cross paths. Well, if they finally cross paths. Nothing is confirmed as we write this.

As always, stay tuned for updates as we have them.

I would be more excited if Topher Grace venom made a cameo than if Tom Holland Spider-Man did.

How about they just reshoot the whole movie in an alternate universe where Marvel never sold their Spider-Man rights to Sony?

As always your assumptions of how connective is the tissue of the MCU surpass the dissapointing reality .."Knull will make his movement in the Multiverse" sounds just like "Kang variants will factor in several MCU movies starting from Ant Man 3" ...Feige is not that creative ...even Arad and Perlmutter were a littlr more visionaries

Speculation needs to stop mounting because I don’t want it lol…

Tom could have been at Amy Pascal’s office for Spidey 4 or even a new project entirely ( I thought it was Uncharted 2 initially but Pascal isn’t involved with that).

Also those set pics of Hardy might be connected to the theory above it it could just be Eddie going back home to NY since he was “ran out of there” in the first one as a full circle moment.

Such a shitty way of being Knull into the picture. Could have been foreshadowing Knull since the first one and set him up for this film.
But you got Toxin, and you got Chiwetel’s character, and now Knull.

Too much shit going on.

They even wasted one of the symbiote’s abilities to shape shift into any sort of clothing or outfit that the bonded thinks of with that goofy gag set in Vegas.

Just a disappointing showing for the Venom character. I thought it was a decent showing for the first one, but then Let There Be Carnage just ran it into the ground.

@asherman93 -

I definitely agree to this point but there is also the first mention of Knull in Thor God of Thunder back in 2013, that mentions All-Black. This moment could have been adapted and foreshadowed in the first movie where The Symbiote provides a vague explanation in regards to the “Symbiote God” that created him and the other symbiotes to Eddie.

At least that is what I would have done if I was writing for that movie. Badly writing might I add.

As a big fan of the Carnage Symbiote and Cletus Kasady (despite how one dimensional he eventually became), I was disappointed in how they went about his portrayal. The backstory scene was actually well done and I like what they did. But the whole, he met Shriek at the Orphanage and they been in love, and he is simping for her…? Nah. That wasn’t necessary.

I would have preferred to the obvious with their connection coming straight from Maximum Carnage. But that is probably just me.

If you actually used any neurons and read further with another comment I made, Knull was introduced in 2015 when Gorr was showcased. In Thor: God of Thunder(2013 run).

That is all they needed to do especially since Marvel makes the comics along with movies. How many times do you see characters introduced in other mediums before they end up in the comics?

Don’t be a dumb [frick]. Read for context before you type. Sound good, dipshit?

Yeah it was hard for me to watch a little bit of their interaction. Just didn’t seem natural. The Carnage Symbiote in itself acted more to the comics in regards to its relationship to Shriek.

no he wasnt. There was no mention of Knull at all. They retconned that after the fact. Try reading an actual comic instead of a wiki page. This is the problem with modern day fans. Whinge and cry about unrealistic issues while simultaneously not having a clue what they're talking about. Oh and how'd you put it. That's right. Dipshit

Oh and I almost completely forgot about this idiotic part of your reply. Venom movies are made by Sony not marvel. They've literally got zero input on the comic side. So no. Marvel does not make the venom comics and movies. Just the comics.

MahN166A
MahN166A - 9/14/2024, 6:05 PM
@BigPhilbowski -

All you needed to do is look at the art and see that Gorr took hold of All-Black. Anybody smart enough (which you have demonstrated easily that YOU ARE NOT), would have seen that that was a symbiote attaching itself to Gorr.
And Gorr addressed the Black and Gold figures as Gods.
And as far Marvel making the comics and not making movies outside of the MCU. No shit.
No one said anything about Sony having a say in what Marvel does with the comics. But since most of their films say, “IN ASSOCIATION WITH MARVEL” in their opening logo cards, that usually tends to IMPLY something called Collaborative Efforts, especially since they ADAPT these comic storylines.

So I will continue to refer to you as Dipshit, for the remainder of this conversation and any future conversations you decide to interject yourself in on my threads.

Lmao, “Modern Day Fans”; said the Fanboy who can’t read between lines.

Anger is not what is present in my responses.

When someone addresses me in a certain tone, manner or verbage, I don’t respond with fake pseudo, “if you have to use obscenities you have no argument” type responses. Or, “I am gonna pretend to be above you and take the high road” approaches.

I will give you back exactly what you gave me. Tenfold.

@MahN166A - once again, you're calling for a character, who didn't exist at the time of production, to have been teased in the movie. You're a [frick]ing idiot. Plain and simple. At the time of printing, the all black had zero links to the symbiote. Knull didn't exist and was not teased in the slightest. Learn what a recon is. And come to the realisation that it's completely idiotic to expect a retconned plot point to appear in other mediums before it's even been retconned. And no, Sony doesn't really collaborate with Marvel comics at all. They collab with Feige and marvel studios. They've zero ties to the comic side. And again, none of that matter since the character literally didn't exist when the movie was being made.

YUCK!!!!! I am sick of this sh!T.

Spider-Man is the MCU's golden goose, and it seems they want to figure out how to screw it up.

Oh, let's bring animated second stringer Miles Morales to the live action MCU because...?? ... Oh yeah. That way we can dilute the value of Peter Parker, the one true Spider-Man.

Let's bring sh!tty Sony Venom to the MCU which will long delay us seeing the true Eddie Brock Venom on the big screen after Secret Wars.

These people are idiots.
