Jeri Ryan is reprising her role as Sonya Blade in the Mortal Kombat webseries alongside Michael Jai White as Jax. She announced it yesterday on her twitter and IGN reported it.



filming is scheduled for later this month and will be in continuity leading up to the game that will be released on april 19th.

they should of looked for somone else, preferably a younger actress that can also fight because i think if jeri ryan is playing sonya then the character either won't fight or it will be a stuntwoman that you can blatantly clock in a fight scene.

jeri ryan is the hottest trekkie ever!!! and yes she can fight..that was like her only job on that star trek voyager show....man was she hott! :)

i agree with u, she should not be Sonya Blade cause she cant fight so basically they will use a stunt double for her.

the best person for the role is Katheryn Winnick shes an actress and martial artist.
