RAMPAGE Could Be On Its Way To Becoming The Best-Reviewed Live-Action Video Game Adaptation Of All Time

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Rampage movie is currently sitting at 50% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not great, right? Well, it's still on track to becoming the best-reviewed video game adaptation of all time...

The reviews for Dwayne Johnson's Rampage have been mixed, but most still seem to agree that it's a fun time at the movies as long as you disengage your brain beforehand. The giant monster-mash is currently sitting at 50% on Rotten Tomatoes, which while no means impressive, does present the movie with an opportunity to claim a record.

If the score holds, Rampage will officially be the site's best-reviewed live-action video game adaptation, just beating the recent Tomb Raider reboot's 49%. The CG Resident Evil: Vendetta feature matches its 50%, however.

Of course, this also means that no video game movie in history has managed to maintain a "fresh" status on RT, which is just a little depressing.

Tell us, have you been to see Rampage? If so, do you think it deserves this great honor? Sound off in the usual place.

Saw it late last night. Stupid but pretty enjoyable, especially once they start smashing up Chicago. Probably is the best video game movie.
