How Would You Feel About A Live Action Sonic The Hedgehog Movie?

First off let me say that Sonic is a comic. So dont complain about it not being one.

Sonic is my childhood and I have been working on an editorial script that will be split into parts.It will be a trilogy based off the Sonic Adventure games. I would like to post my script on this site but I dont want to get bashed for it so I am asking for your opinion first. Now when I say live action I mean Sonic and his friends are still CGI but they are in real life enviorments like Alvin and the Chipmunks (but won't suck) also every human character will be played by a human actor. Even Dr. Eggman. I know it will be hard casting but I would also like to post a fan fic on who I would want to voice/play as these characters. So if you are interested in this help me with the cast by either e-mailing me or just posting your ideas in the comment section.

So what do you think?

I hope you guys are interested because I do have a good script. It isnt dark and gritty cause it most likely will be a PG movies since there alot of kids who like Sonic. Also who should be the director?

um im preety sure theere is a live action sonic movie being made, by the guy who made the live action megaman movie and he got jallell white to voice sonic again, search it up on youtube ull find it

How do you make Sonic live-action? He's a blue hedgehog. I can see it being like Kung Fu Panda or even Shrek. That would be awesome. But they don't count as live-action . . .

BIG fan of Sonic and "BooYah" I SERIOUSLY appreciate you typing this thing up because this is a topic we so rarely see on this site.

I would LOVE for a Sonic the Hedgehog live action film but sadly I don't see it being possible...unless they make Sonic CGI and put him in the real world like what they've done with- Alvin and the Chipmunks, Smurfs and rocky and bullwinkle.

They could CGI Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. Amy Rose should be in the film too as the love-interest (in a newer Sonic game i hated the inner-species thing going between Sonic and some human girl...blech) Doctor Eggman would be played by a real person.

The film would be cool because unlike- rocky/bullwinkle, alvin and the chipmunks and the smurfs...Sonic isn't all kiddie. He's also a FIGHTER and the main focus of his games have always been based on- fluid, action games.

This could be a really great movie.

I figure, Knuckles will start out in the film as a villain working for Eggman as a "pawn"

Much like in the older Sonic games. Maybe then Knuckles could later team up with Sonic after breaking free of Eggman's influence but then work-in Metal Sonic! Sonic and Knuckles versus Metal Sonic goes down...then by the climax bring in the 'Death Egg' i think that was the name and have sonic and knuckles take on Robotnik...er Eggman in his robot from the game- "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" that was my most fav sonic game as a kid.

I don't know...i think if a movie were to be made- Sonic the Hedgehog 2 should be the game of influence.

This is just me brainstorming though =D

@BooYah- Hmmmm...I didn't really...well not Jaleel White. Steve Urkel's voice lol.

I liked the voice from the game- "Sonic 360" ??

I think that's the game on the XBox360 his voice was really cool in that game!!

In the show "Sonic X" I THINK he had that same voice but don't quote me on that. ;D

also @BooYah- Love your pre-warning of it being comic related. Don't worry man, even if it wasn't, it's still a geek thing for us. ;D

So it's cool nonetheless IMHO. Plus one guy posted an editorial of Mario vs. Sonic one time. So it's cool man.

But yeah a Sonic live-action film is a MUST. Don't know why Sega hasn't jumped on it yet. But i heard about a year ago Nintendo saying they MIGHT start getting back into making new movies. Plus...I THINK they have some control over Sonic now that Sega is out of the console wars.

@Mrcool210- Yeah that's cool man. If it's on Jaleel's official site as you said than that's official enough for me, that guy was legendary as Sonic's voice (though not my favorite)

@lp4 I would like the guy who voiced him in Sonic adventures 2 also im kind of using the sonic adventure games as the story of my scrip but I really do like the story you mentioned and lol I never seen a Mario vs Sonic on here before

@InSpace- Agreed...his games have gone downhill. Sonic-Team need to revive him. But I thought his newest game- Sonic Generations looked EPIC. Him and his old version teaming up was epic...

But yeah the Sonic Adventure games were great. I think they were the REAL groundbreaking 3D games for Sonic.

Sonic is the first character I ever collected a comic book for. I have a ton of old issues from the early 90s. And i will always love this movie

Eggman shouldn't be too goofy though like in the shows. The Eggman that really freaked me out as a kid was in the sonic show- "Sonic the Hedgehog" but not the very first one, this one introduced Princess Sally and her Freedom Fighters. THAT Eggman freaked me out. But I also like the one from Sonic Adventures. Either way please a non-camp Eggman would be awesome. But I wonder who would play him...??

@ScionStorm- GREAT film, I saw that in middleschool for the first time ever, one of my friends had it.

Metal Sonic FTW!!!!

I remember the ending seemed kind of sad for Metal Sonic...i remember feeling bad for him in the last scene for some reason.

Yea in my script Im not going to make him goofy. Never really liked that Eggman as for who will play him I have no idea but by the time I post my fan fic I hope I pick the perfect guy. I do have an idea on who to pick though.

He's great in the show Chuck and he'd bring a certain toughness to the role of Knuckles which is just what Knuckles needs.

Anti-hero Knuckles FTW. They've softened him up a bit too much in recent years...

Dear god i love how Sonic looks!! His hairs look real and he actually looks like a CGI hedgehog but with some sort of real attributes!!!
