Even though Warcraft wasn't able to make its mark in the United States, it did manage to perform more than admirably overseas, raking in a grand sum of over $433 million worldwide with nearly $220 million of that total coming from China alone. Whether or not those numbers result in a sequel is yet-to-be seen, but it's certainly not out of the realm of possibility just yet.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD release date for the Duncan Jones-directed film and have also unveiled the cover art and detailed the special features. The film will arrive on Digital HD on September 13 and will hit stores on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, 4K Ultra HD, DVD, and On Demand two weeks later on September 27.

The extensive list of special features includes a number of behind-the-scenes featurettes, deleted scenes, a gag reel, exclusive interviews, and a lot, lot more. Check them out below and keep scrolling for the cover art and a Blu-ray announcement trailer:

I just did a Google image search for animated "gagging" pics at work. That was a mistake I won't make again.

I have to imagine that it was enough money for a sequel to come. Maybe those numbers don't typically equate to a sequel. But with that crazy high number in China and the weirdly low number in the US it shows that their is a huge potential here with this property if they can just switch aspects of the movie and the marketing up to make it more appealing for domestic audiences.

Didnt watch, not a big fan of WoW. Plus game adaptions are hardly ever good.

I personally would prefer to see a Starcraft or Overwatch movie before a sequel of Warcraft. Then every few years they can switch between the movies to the other ones.

This movie wasted its potential. Could have been one of the biggest movie franchise.
When your first movie isnt a big success (both reception and box office) it normally wouldn't do well for the sequels too.

This looked so terrible. It's all c level actors too. Paula Patton? She can't get other work? That means it's time to hang it up. Video game movies are so lame and have NEVER worked. The first Resident Evil was entertaining but it was nothing like the game. I don't [frick]ing understand why Hollywood constantly changes fantastic source material. That's the main reason the walking dead show is such a gigantic piece of shit too. It's unfortunate.
