Next up from SDDCC we have an officially released pic from the Legendary Pictures booth: A first glimpse of the title logo for Duncan Jones' upcoming video game adaptation, Warcraft.

Warcraft Movie Weapons - San Diego Comic-Con 2014



Jones wrapped on the movie a while back, so this hopefully won't be the only thing we see from the fantasy flick at SDCC. Starring Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky, Dominic Cooper, Daniel Wu, and Clancy Brown, Warcraft will open in 2D and 3D theaters on March 11, 2016.

Never played Warcraft, but Duncan Jones has a pretty good track record. Prefer to wait for a trailer before I get on the hype train

@Dandy I was thinking the same thing. I am so excited for this film. I really hope the visuals blow us away. The props look incredible. Hopefully the this breaks the voodoo!

This film should draw well based on its massive popularity alone. Not unlike how Hunger Games and Twilight drew well based on the massive popularity of the novels behind them. Now, don't take that to mean I think we will get a "Twilight-kind-of-movie". Just saying it has an already established huge following like that.

Any fantasy film along this line is one worth checking out as far as I am concerned.

I hope this is good because now that the Hobbit is wrapping up this year, we won't have any good fantasy franchises. Finers crossed that this is the next big thing for the fantasy genre.

I'm cautious about this, I hope this turns out great and that it will spur some interest in the Warcraft franchise (not World of Warcraft). I want Warcraft 4 dammit! It's been over a decade Blizzard!

Never played Warcraft, but this looks cool. I'll definitely watch this. Easier than learning how to play.
