Dutch model Doutzen Kroes is rumored to play a role in the upcoming Wonder Woman film. According to the Dutch Telegraph, Kroes encouraged the rumours herself by posting hints on her Instagram. Doutzen Kroes previously starred in the first Dutch 3D movie 'Nova Zembla'. Is she now making her big Hollywood debut?
Doutzen Kroes started her modelling career back in 2003. Kroes became a model after sending some of her holiday snaps to a model agency in Amsterdam. She gained international fame after she became one of the well-known Victoria's Secret Angels in 2008. Just as she started her career, she was voted as 'Model of The Year' on Vogue.com. She had been feautered on 9 Vogue magazine covers. Kroes made her film debut in Reinout Oerlemans' Nova Zembla back in 2011, the first Dutch feature film ever released in 3D.
Last month, she told the Dutch Telegraph that she had big plans in the international film world. Today, the surprising news arrived that she is supposed to be a character in DC's Wonder Woman feature film, directed by Patty Jenkins. Doutzen Kroes is in Italy at the moment, seen from her Instagram posts. Kroes even posted a photo of herself with the words ''Warrior shot''.
Wonder Woman is currently filming in Italy. That can't be a coincident, right? One of the photos is also taken by the same beach as where the cast and crew is filming now. Despite the fact that this is still a rumour, I'm sure she will show up in the film. I expect that she will be announced soon!
She would perfectly fit by the side of the beautiful Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman in this upcoming superhero movie. What do you think of this possible casting? And which character will she play?
