On Friday, while fans worldwide rejoiced at the early reactions to LoganMike Sampson, the senior marketing & promotions manager at Alamo Drafthouse Brooklyn sent a tweet that seemingly flew under the radar of many, revealing that 20th Century Fox had added three minutes to the initial runtime of the James Mangold-directed film.

The cut screened in previews reportedly ran around 135-137 minutes and now, theater chains have been asked to update their Logan runtimes to approximately 140.34 minutes. No reason for the change has been provided, which does seem to indicate that they may have added a little something extra to the end of the film, but then again, Sampson does caution that the added minutes could ultimately mean nothing as the studio may have just now finalized the full cast/crew credits, which turned out to run a little longer than they initially expected.

Check out his tweets below:

Deadpool set up most likely. Studio probably added it. Doubt Mangold and his ANTI-CINEMATIC UNIVERSE AGENDA would support such a thing.

I'm thinking Cable tease.
