Hugh Jackman Suggests MAD MAX Star Tom Hardy Should Be The Next WOLVERINE
While he'll likely make an appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse (AND Deadpool if we're lucky), Hugh Jackman has only one Wolverine movie left before he hangs up the claws for good.
Since he first played Wolverine in 2000's X-Men, Hugh Jackman has become synonymous with the role of Wolverine. All these years later and the actor is still playing the fan-favourite mutant, but he's finally going to call it quits with The Wolverine sequel in 2017. Whether Fox will recast - no easy feat - or put the character on the shelf for a few years obviously remains to be seen (Deadpool or Gambit could easily become the new "face" of the X-Men franchise in Jackman's absence), but finding a new actor to play Wolverine isn't going to be easy. Luckily, in an interview to promote Pan, the Australian actor revealed his pretty much perfect idea for who could take over from him; The Dark Knight Rises and Legend star, Tom Hardy! Check out his comments in full below:
Do you think Tom Hardy would make a good Wolverine or should the studio go for an unknown? How about just forgetting the character? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts below.
