On the heels of their Logan subscribers cover and a batch of stunning new stills, Empire has officially released (via Hugh Jackman himself) the cover for their latest issue, which gives us a brand new look at a battle-ready Wolverine.

Fans are hoping Logan will be a swansong worthy of this iconic character and Jackman's time in the claws, and early reports do indicate that it won't disappoint. However, we should have some more in-depth reactions when the movie receives its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival next month.

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Logan claws its way into theaters on March 3.
