"So, this is what is feels like."

After an outstanding theatrical run, Logan is returning to theaters next month for an encore.

Director James Mangold has confirmed that his critically acclaimed blockbuster, which features Academy Award-nominee Hugh Jackman's final performance as the fan favorite Wolverine, will be rereleased in domestic theaters on May 16 with a special black-and-white edition.

Logan (as of 04/28) has grossed over $604.5 million worldwide and has already firmly established itself as the third  highest grossing X-Men film ever worldwide and the fourth highest domestic. If it can earn over $10,625,751 during this limited event, then it would leap over X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men: Days of Future Past to become the X-Men saga's second highest grossing film domestic overall.

A home video release hasn't been formally announced, but it's rumored to arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, & DVD on May 23. The original R-rated theatrical version and the black-and-white version will both be included.

Check out his series of tweets below:

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border.

But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Logan features:
Director: James Mangold
Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine
Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier/Professor X
Dafne Keen as Laura Kinney/X-23
Boyd Holbrook as Donald Pierce
Richard E. Grant as Zander Rice
Stephen Merchant as Caliban
Eriq La Salle as Will Munson
Elise Neal as Kathryn Munson
Quincy Fouse as Nate Munson
Doris Morgado as Maria

This was a movie made for Jackman to get room to shine and boy did he shine. I hate the Hollywood top dogs because this wont get a sniff at any acting awards. Hugh deserves it.

@LaserKing - Best performance in the superhero genre since Ledger in TDK.

@BatmanxBatgirl - Although I really like how the vast number of super actors are lifting the level of superhero flicks, I believe the combination of the actor and the story take the cake as tops. I hope I am not blinded by what a nice person he seems to be and how he has done so much for that character. Good luck to the next Wolverine..

If they offer it where I live, I am going - and will buy my ritual Milk Duds candy. But I don't know. More concerned about 2 JUN's event.
