If you've read any of the stories lately about The Wolverine you'll see reporter after reporter stating that Kelly Hu is in the movie and will be reprising her role as Lady Deathstrike. I'm a curious soul, so I decided to do some digging and I came across this video of the sultry actress responding to the rumors of her casting in the film. Skip to the 20 second mark to see and hear her responses to the rumor.









I for one would love to see Kelly comeback and play Lady Deathstrike once again. Heck, I'd love to see more of Kelly in anything. Last I saw of her she was on Hawaii Five-O, and then they killed her off. How do you kill off one of the most beautiful women in the world? The balls on these writers. Do they think angels just grow on trees?

The Wolverine starts filming in mid-October, and will be directed by James Mangold.

I've seen in person two years ago at The Big-Apple Comic-Con. She was just walking to her booth through the crowd like nothing, greeting people and her fans. Very beautiful woman and very pleasant.

YES! She so should be in it! She's a great actress and was great as Deathstrike. The good thing about her in X2 was that she looked pretty despite her no lines, but shes actually a really good actress, so there is no need to recast her for The Wolverine.

it!!! Save her for later, but she should reprise/ repair

Wolverine better wear his yellow suit! Without the mask though. I want to see an ugly classic Wolvie, killing bears, in the woods, all that stuff :)

And Itsu needs to be in this one, so Daken can come along later ;D

Thank god! This movie is supposed to be something more convincing than his other feature films. Keeping it on the level is ideal.

Oh, man! That really sucks! I was excited when I read that she would be in it. I know she's not directly involved in the Wolverine Japan saga where he meets Yuriko but I was hoping they could somehow fit Lady Deathstrike in there. I mean FOX has already managed to jam as many mutants as possible in these X films.
