We finally have some casting news for James Mangold's new Wolverine movie, as Deadline reports that Narcos' Boyd Holbrook will play the main baddie alongside Hugh Jackman's iconic hero...

Looks like we have our villain for The Wolverine sequel (or threequel if you count Origins), as Boyd Holbrook (Narcos, Gone Girl) is in final talks to play the chief antagonist in the James Mangold-directed CBM.

According to Deadline, Holbrook will portray "a relentless, calculating and intense head of Security for a global enterprise who is set against Jackman’s clawed Wolverine/Logan."

Apparently this will be a completely original character, so best put the speculation hats away - though the description does sound a little bit like Captain Mooney from the recent All-New Wolverine series

The Wolverine 3 will also star Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier, and is set to hit theaters on March 3 next year.
