The guy is right about a few things. The mutant everyone thinks is Blob in X3, isn't. It's an X-Statix character named Phat, along with the bone-throwing mutant in the forest Wolvie fights, it wasn't a cheap Marrow knock-off, it was another X-Statix named Spike. Read the credits if you feel I'm wrong.

I almost pooped when he brought up the Sinister thing. Since I never saw Christian Clark in the whole cut, I am holding out that he may still be in the final cut. While his Genosha association is right, Neverland fits the bill too.

I know what you mean about Phat and Spike, God was X Statix aweful.

I was kind of thrown on th spike thing tho. Wasn't there someone else named Spike in X3 as well?

good review, i agree the whole sword reflecting bullet scene didn't sit well with me either. But I thought Deadpool would be older, judging from the bunkbed i saw in the back i would saw he's anywhere from 14 - 16yrs old. lol

@TheMyth - Really? Xavier and Magneto Origins? I thought the Magneto Origins was bad enough.

I mean no disrespect, but since the idea came about when both origins where just ideas, I could never see what kind of value Magneto's "story" would have on the big screen. Plus the fact he has been the villian in all three x-men movies. I see him more as a gateway character to show the x-men. Maybe if he was only the villian in the first, but I think we should move on.
Also, there are a few other characters they could start origins movies on that would have a better story to translate... IMO of course.
Personally, I think the best avenue is to showcase movies that start to expand deeper into the x-men universe. I think its time to open up the tunnel vision a bit.

and xavier was at the end of X-Men Origins Wolverine movie it's good and it's going to be wolverine 2 as well after young x-men movie , X-Men Origins magneto movie and x-men 4 after those movies.

I wouldnt like nothing bettter than to love this movie! but i didnt and i dont think i will. Hell i even watched that horrible waste of celluloid that is Ghost Rider with my Nephew last night and had a good time pretending to like it with him too! Go on youtube and look up Topo's review of this movie. it will be worth it trust me. I want o know how many of you saw the movie "Shinobi - Heart under blade"

This guy obviosuly does not know much History. Canadians did fight on the UNION side of the American Civil War. It is estimated around 50,000 joined in to help defeat the opposing forces.

So...learn some things dont go ranting based on opinion.

EDIT: actually scratch the above statement, i would want a deadpool movie with no origin. just start the movie with him going on a mission, no back story.

Reynolds said it himself that there were no added scenes during the reshoots. His schedule just didn't allow it. It's my theory that is why they hired Scott Atkins to play Weapon 11.

Judging by the cramped quarters in the backround that have a microwave sharing the same space as a bunk bed...this has to be a college kid right? Not bad kid. As for the continuity problems...I like the movie Wolverine better than his comic counter parts (cept when he cries like a bitch, which he did in all three previous movies), so if it doesn't follow the comics I'll still enjoy it. I mean hell, in the Nolanverse Batman, they INVENTED this pivitol character (Rachle Dawes) and I still loved both movies. Liberties HAVE to be taken sometimes. Otherwise, Wolvie would be a 5'3". I wonder if Fox didn't leak the film to get fan reaction and maybe they have an alternate cut (drastically different) standing by, cause they have a MONTH to fix it.

@Justadjust: None takn. I agree that a Magneto origin film is pretty pointless. That's why I say if they choose to go with it, it should be "X-Men Origins: Xavier and Magnus"... or something like that. I personally think Xavier's story before the X-Men is very interesting and filled with big events. And the characters to be seen, Moira MacTaggart, Amelia Voight, Shadow King, Cain Marko(something to maybe correct the X3 'mistake'), Lucifer(the alien who paralyzes him). Mr. Sinister has been involved in Xavier's life on several occasions. Much fun could be had with just an Xavier origin. Tell the 2 stories together and how they intertwine while thickening the plot for the future could be great. Let's see how the finished Wolverine does.

look .... honestly if the characters were handled with integrity and with a sense of urgency then i would wait till 2012 for the finale but 'Ward' is right ....110 years in two minutes is not an origin story.... i already like his version much more. if Fox does change the movie from what was out here already it will be a huge improvemnt..... i dont care if Lliev gets a goddam oscar for allowing his name to be attatched to this!!!! that wa sstill not Sabertooth... looked more like a goddam Gelflin (thanks Ror) with toe-nail fungus than the yellow devil himself i believed Sabertooth to be..... This movie so far makes me hate and i do mean HATE any gawddamned director who puts their interpretaion or creates "Their " own universe with well established and icon like figures of today. As much as i loved TDK.... it was only cuz i was forced to see The BatMan through Nolans F'ing Egotistical eyes. I hate his Universe and Wolverines Origins now! still be there opening day... just wont pay to see it if it is even close to be a lame as deadpool and sabertooth were in this movie. poop

The origin being skipped was one of the parts that annoyed me most too.

I like comic book Wolverine better because he has a dark past. They made him almost a boy scout in this one. "What we kill people? I'm out"
And yes liberties do need to be made but in Deadpool's case they made the character unrecognizable by changing everything and removing everyth.ing makes the character interesting and multifaceted

My costume sucks? I'd like to see you do better pal. Though I'll admit the eyes are messed up and I can't fix them. Also the costume loos better with the harness on and everything.
