Hidden Surprises in X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Director Gavin Hood promises X-Men Origins: Wolverine will be filled with Easter eggs and a surprise ending after the credits.

Despite the fact that an estimated half-million copies of X-Men Origins: Wolverine were illegally downloaded after an unfinished copy was leaked, there are still plenty of surprises in store for fans. In a recent interview with Wizard magazine, director Gavin Hood promised that even those who had seen the pirated version hadn't seen everything:

"Don't leave before the credits are over. Now I say that and I better not be in trouble, because you do realize that I'm not done with the editing process and the studio still has to sign off on everything. But, yes, Hugh [Jackman] and I have a couple Easter egss somewhere in there."

X-Men Origins: Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine, Liev Schreiber as Victor Creed/Sabretooth, Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool and Taylor Kitsch as Remy LeBeau/Gambit.

i hope after the credits it isnt just logan in the bar like it is n the leaked film bocause i would be pissed i hope its open for a deadpool spinoff or something thats the best ending

Maybe its Stryker, with a sewing kit, frantically trying to put deadpool back together, nervously chanting "for the spinoff...for the spinoff..."

Would be cool if they opened it up for a sequel or perhaps if marvel can get the rights back have Hugh make a cameo or be part of the Avengers Movie. Wolverine has deffinitly been part of the Avengers. =)

pfft Do they honestly think it's the LEAK that will make this thing perform poorly at the box office? lol Hollywood will never ever wake up and smell itself. And I promise you this: they WILL blame it on the fact that it's a comic book movie.
But the truth is that the clowns that made it and wrote it have ZERO respect for the source material. They didn't imporve upon the story one bit, they took something that was good and made it ungood, and if it flops THAT'S the REAL reason why.

I loved the after credit scene in the leak. I can't tell you how many people I've heard say, or read posts, wishing they had done something in Japan or that the sequel would be. That scene alludes heavily to where a possible sequel would go.

@DennisW22: um... who wants another Spider Man movie, or another Iron Man Movie, or any more comic movies for that matter.

@Juggernaut: Agreed. Studios suck and they always shirk responsibility. They can never own up and say, "Damn. Our bad guys." There hasn't been a comic movie made yet that didn't try to 'improve' upon the source material and as a result, none of them have ever been as good as the source.

@Bijous then you my friend chose well and your reward was far greater than ours...... oh and i just got done watching DragonBall Evo with my 5 yr. old nephew and right towrds the end he turns to me and says "this movie kinda dumb huh?" no joke, then he says Lamo" cuz i always say that.

Plenty of people want another Wolverine movie I my self do as well. However I would also like to see a Deadpool movie.

I hate waiting until after the full credits, it's too chaotic of a time to pull that crap. The house lights are up and people unaware of extra footage are walking in front of you, or they stop dead when the extra scene suddenly pops up and stand there blocking your view like they're made of glass. Then you have to roll your eyes and drop kick them in the spine... it's just a pain in the ass. If they are going to slide in some extra footage why must they tag it at the very end? Why not just throw it up after the initial credits before they go into the full credits, like with "The Incredible Hulk" and not like "Iron Man".

the problem wasnt after the credits the problem was the final thirty or-so minutes. so hopefully after the credits theres a message that say's sit back down we are going to give you a brand new 30 minutes. :)

The ending I'm hoping for after the credits is Wolverine being confronted by Nick (Bad MuthaF*cker) Fury, and after he says to Logan: "ENGLISH, MUTHA F*CKA! DO YOU SPEAKIT?!", and Logan says: "Yep.", Nick (Bad MuthaF*cker) Fury is like:

"We have a problem, and we can use a Man of your talents..."

Then hands Logan a file, with a photo of Bruce (American History X) Banner and THE HULK inside!

I don't want another Wolverine movie. I want another X-men film that's done right, being a fan of cyclops I am so disappointed how he's being ignored in the movies.

By the way in the trailer I saw Emma Frost turn to ice, is that true!!!??? She has powers over the mind not body. WTF??!!!

@rushx5 its not ice she covers herself in its diamonds she her powers are over the mind but she also has physicla attributes one being able to turn her body into diamonds so shes like the hardest substance next to wolvies anamantium

haha i agree im glad we saw a movie about wolverine and i cant wait till the next one even though im a bit dissapointed in this one but i gotta see it first so no judgement but wade wilson i hope after his head being cut off he becomes deadpool just puts it back on and opens his mouth and thats how he becomes insane good stuff i hope if not then o well

IM PRETTY SURE BECAUSE OF THE LEAK, THEY WILL CHANGE THINGS UP, PUT THINGS IN AND MAKE IT TWICE AS BETTER, THEY HAVE ALL THE MEANS AT THEIR DISPOSAL.THEY CHANGE UP THE BEATS IN ORDER TO MAKE IT SOMETHING THAT EVEN THE PIRATES WILL WANT TO SPEND THEIR MONEY FOR-YOU WANT TO SELL SOMETHING PEOPLE MIGHT HAVE ALREADY SEEN? GIVE THEM SOMETHING THEY HAVENT.

i hope the leaked version was a hoax and they put out a movie that makes sense on may 1st...nd if this movie doesnt break $100mill the 1st weekend the leak hurt it..because this movie wont have legs like the studio would want with star trek coming the week after...i love wolverine but the fumbled the movie...they got my $11 bucks at least.

Some of the conspiracy people think that Fox purposely leaked the film to:

1) Gauge fan reaction and make changes where necessary.

and/or

2) Manufacture a reason to write the film off if it is a financial failure.

Of course, that's just conspiracy people talking...

Meh I enjoyed the movie. It wasn't amazing, but still entertaining. Not as good as X2 , but way better than X3.

I hope it is worth sticking around for. I would love to see the continuation of the Wolverine saga. I'm sure because of the leak, the movie will be changed up a bit but we will see! I hope it's the live action of HULK vs. Wolverine!!!!!!!!!

I'll tell you the honest to god truth, I agree with Tylerwinn and Supermike.
I know that's an unpopular opinion but except for the fact that he's funny, "Deadpoo" is totaly boring and sucky.

There are SO MANY characters that are so much better, that it's hard for me to understand why people make such a big deal about that one.

Daredevil is better. So is Doctor Strange, Nightcrawler, and She Hulk. Collossus is cooler and also Thor and Susan Richards. Man Thing, Spider - Man, Silver Surfer, Captain America, Thing, Iron Man, Hercules, and Ms. Marvel are ALL better than Deadpool in every way IMO. There are literally hundreds of cooler characters, so whats the big deal about this one?

I tend to think of him as: "What if SPIDER-MAN and PUNISHER had a baby?"

You'd have DEADPOOL!

Deadpool SHOULD get his OWN film! I think it would be AWESOME! Have SIRYN as a love interest, (didn't he have a crush on her?) and pit him against DOMINO, or X-FORCE or X-FACTOR!
