The first dev diary for X-Men Origins: Wolverine was released today. In it, the developers state "The movie game that finally does not suck" and "The definitive Woverine game".

Judging by the footage included in the video, I'm starting to believe this "movie game" might have a chance.

I hope that voice at the end of the clip is not wolverine's voice on the game, because it sounds awful.

looks like a cheap hack and slash with some nice in-game movies thrown in. his moves seem so cartoony it make the whole game look jack and daxter-ish.

Anythings better than that last Wolverine game, maybe on this one you can actually figure out how to beat the bosses.

If they can guarantee that this game is nothing like wolverines revenge i would consider buying it. that game made me stop buying anything comic or movie related PERIOD. and of course the guys working on this project will amp it up as the best game created, i want to see actual gameplay lol

i think i saw wendigo somewhere in there, theres a big white creature that falls off a cliff

Looks fun. Though my favorite comic book video game so far has been Ultimate Spider-Man.
