Magneto gives Rogue an assist to fight the Sentinels.

"With a never-before-seen, alternate cut of the film—plus nearly 90 minutes of all-new, immersive special features, the X-Men: Days of Future Past RogueCut takes you deeper into the X-Men universe than ever before. Rogue makes her return as the all-star characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves and unite to battle armies of murderous Sentinel robots who are hunting down mutants and humans alike!"


The "Rogue Cut" will screen at Comic-Con on July 11th at 8pm, and will then be officially released on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digitial HD on July 14th.

The costume designer needs to be fired. Anna lacquer is so hot but they managed to make her looks old and not as hot. Shame on fox who can't ever get it right

I don't think they'll recast, I hope they don't. The only problem with Rogue was the writing. Anna's a real talent, and she can only do what the script tells her. But I think you're right, they'll use Bella Donna,

@CherryBomb God I hope not. She's boring as hell as Rogue, not fiery at all. Have you read the comics? I mean..maybe its the crappy writing in the movies, but its just not Rogue. At all. She was always one of my favorite characters...yes, even during the time when she's riding Magneto's rod...and Paquin has shown NOTHING of that flavor, of her spunk.
But again. The writers got 98% of the characters totally wrong so...who knows. Maybe if she beefs up, gets a better accent, and shows emotion....maybe she could do it? I dunno. I'm not hopeful

I have to be honest here, in many ways... She is still the absolute worst choice for Rogue. Doesn't anyone remember the cartoon series or any comic book version? She was smoking hot, cute, sexy, and had a delightful accent. All of this made it that much more tragic that she couldn't BE touched. They went in the direction of 'Lets make her a tragic girl who cant have her first kiss' bullshit... Ill be honest I dont like the actress too. I think she is a poor actor and is unattractive. So why the hell does she still have to be rogue? No one gives a shit! It really angers me that instead of getting the right version of rogue we get a desperate dumpy emo loner who doesnt fly and no one wants to touch...

Exactly, everything you've described is the writing. You can't be a "fiery" character if your lines or direction aren't written or said that way. Anna Paquin plays a fiery southerner in True Blood, she's awesome as a Rogue type feisty woman, she has it in her, she's even tweeted about wanting to play the more bad ass Rogue.

I just can't see them recasting Rogue, they've set up this same universe and while it's okay to recast someone with an extended cameo like Gambit had in Origins, Rogues been quite a prominent character. Her absence from DOFP surprised me by how much backlash Singer got for cutting her scenes, I think they'll just neglect to reference Rogue or include her until there's an entire universe reboot.

As much as I've never been a fan of Paquin's Rogue, I have been waiting for this cut. Haven't bought the bluray yet, won't until this comes out. Always up for extra scenes.

Rogue will definitely get recast in the hopefully not-too distant future,

Anna Paquin's horrible portrayal has been received with at best a mixed response from fans.

She's had four go's at the character now, enough is enough.

As in Rumor has it that, Rogue CUT will do nothing to enhance this movie. Unless she absorbed her TRUE BLOOD character's tendency to be naked...

Lets see , Anna Paquin is bisexual,Ellen Page is gay...I wouldnt expect Singer to cast the Rogue from the cartoon or comics

As much as I look forward to some other director/writers taking the reigns on X-Men, I'm sure this Rogue cut will add to DOFP. Definitely agree that all of it should've been released at once though.
