As the cast continues to grow for the upcoming movie from director Matthew Vaughn, yet another actress has been added to play a younger version of one of the characters. Here is a excerpt from the original report over at SuperHeroHype:

"XMF reports that American child actress Morgan Lily (2012) has joined the rapidly-growing cast of Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class as young Mystique."

Morgan Lily (born April 11, 2000) is an American child actress. She started modeling internationally at four years old and appeared in more than 21 television commercials. Since then, she's had supporting roles in He's Just Not That Into You, as Matthew Gray Gubler's daughter in Pornstar, and as Lilly Curtis in the apocalyptic film 2012.

Other cast members already announced include James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, Alice Eve, Kevin Bacon, Nicholas Hoult, Caleb Landry Jones, Jennifer Lawrence, Lucas Till, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng and Oliver Platt.

X-Men: First Class is set to be released on June 3, 2011!

Wow.... they keep on shoving way too many people for - at least - a two-hour long "origin" movie. Too many things to focus for something that short, decent plot goes bye-bye with all these cameos of who's who.

what the hell is going on? This movie is screaming [frick] up! Vaughn, what are you doing? This bullshit better be good! Next Im getting cast in the movie as man who comes in and has the special ability of face-palming! lol

Well, the one upside of this movie is, that when Marvel Studios make an eventual reboot, they can look at how Fox did it and see how to avoid making the same mistakes. Call me when the reboot arrives

OK: so: now to a real post. lol

I'm curious as to how this film will look. I mean: it's looking like "X-Men Origins: Everyone From the First Three Films and Then Some". You know: at first I was like "This film is gonna suck: I don't give a crap about it." then after time: I was like "This is starting to look really kool". Now: I'm like "What the Hell?! What is this film even about?!"

Younger Mystique? Im incredibly interested on how the story will pan out. I have no clue what their going to do with Azazel and what villain Kevin Bacon will actually play, if Cyclops is in the movie and if Iceman is in the movie...

However i loved Kick-ass and I enjoyed some of Matthew Vaughn's early works with Layer Cake and Stardust.


Keep in mind this is the production team that gave us xmen 1 and X2, plus Bryan Singer had no hand in Origins and X3.

i have a wait and see attitude with this movie but i am interested to see how all the characters will mesh with eachother and be a cohesive group.

If this is done well, and it looks like it could be, it could be great! All those who say NO to it at this stage are a little silly in my opinion. Dosen't matter who the studio is if it's a good movie. Have faith, a little hope and if after the release it's crap then we storm Fox and smash the place up. Who's with me?

haha, nice one Josh. I have to say, I'm at the very least intrigued. I like that Vaughn is keeping the story under wraps, and I'm confident in his direction..but there are A LOT of characters in this. I hope he can juggle em.

Every single piece of news I hear about X-Men: First Class just makes it sound more and more like one big mess. Along with Kevin Bacon's mysterious villain, Emma Frost, Azazel, a varied bunch of X-Men and now scenes featuring an even younger version of Mystique, I find it near impossible to work out what kind of movie this will be!!! Still, this is a decent casting choice.

ROR: Thanks bud! :) Vaughn did such an amazing job with a fairly small cast in Kick-Ass, I just cant work out why he's including so many character in this! I have faith in the guy and as excited as I am to see all these new mutants, it also feels a little like overkill! Maybe it'll all start to make sense when we hear more about the story...

Man, is this really going to be about Prof. X and Magneto being friends who fight over Mystique's vajayjay? Is that what their disagreement is going to boil down too? Let me guess, she is Magneto's girlfriend but Chuck nails her and they get Nightcrawler or something wacked out like that. That sounds like a Fox writing team move, Prof. X will be Nightcrawler's bastard Father, the main disagreement between them will have nothing to do with their differing philosophies about human/mutant relations, and Wolverine will be nailing, friggin Emma or hell it is Fox, Nightcrawler. "We are Mutants and we are gay, how will the world ever accept us?"
Are you reading this Fox? Don't use ANY of these ideas!!!! Go ahead and make Mystique have a lesbo relationship, that one actually happened, and would be fun to watch, boom chicka wow wow!!

Well, I'm very interested in this movie.I didn't care for X-3 or Wolverine, but I'm not one of those crazed "Fox Sucks" people.I don't really know much about the plot, but the cast they've assembled and the creative team seems to be solid.I guess we'll see next year.

i thort the idea was she was a slave from like hundreds of years ago, i dont know this is all getting confuzing.

it would seem like a waaste of a sceen showing her when she was a slave, i dont remmber to much about her orgin.

you know what bacons gonna be ethier mystiuqe or apaocalpse shape shifted as some one else????

we might get the annoucement about whos playing cyclops,jean grey,angel & iceman at the chicago comic con.

wouldn't it be great if matthew vaughn came up with this idea of keeping the films story & cast so secret.

he just made this cast list up,so when we sit down to watch the trailer for the first time.

we were all surprised to see the original five up against magneto.

how awesome would that be.
