Bryan Singer who directed X-Men and X2: X-Men United is now back with the franchise but as the producer of the Kick-Ass Directed mastermind Matthew Vaughan in this X-Men prequel X-Men: First Class.

Singer sat down with The Geek Files to discuss the current progress of this X-Men prequel and they even discussed the rumor of an Wolverine Cameo!!!

Singer first talks about what the project is about and the mutants old and new showing up in there...

"It takes place in the early 60s and it incorporates some characters I was able to bring back in time that are familiar, as well as some new characters, new mutants.

"Also, there's a new villain component, a really cool villain and villain group.

"It's a really cool and fun story. It will be the first Silver Age Marvel movie", he said.

He goes on to talk about the Silver Age of comics in the 1960's but then The Geek Files just came out and asked about Hugh Jackman making an appearance in X-Men: First Class...

He dismissed the idea, stating: "He's not in the movie, he's in the Wolverine movies."

A FOX spokesman has since said: "X-Men hasn't started shooting in Georgia yet and if Hugh was in Georgia, it wasn't for this movie."

So it was just a happy coincidence that they where at the same place at the same time?...I guess for now that's what we have to believe.
