it takes place in an alternate timeline!! vaughn and singer said it's similar to the new Star Trek, look it up. either way it still pisses me off no cyclops!!! if it's an alternate timeline then why no cyclops if it doesn't have to abide by Wolverine Origins. Instead we get mutans no one gives a crap about.i'm still praying that dude that plays "havok" is really cyclops but usually my prayers are never answered an theres no reason to believe they will now. i look more forward to the new wolverine.

Found this at some russian site claiming this to be a true stuff from reliable source... Can't say it's true stuff but at least it looks more real than that Azazel picture

Yeah looking at that new one in the comments section I guess these all must be fan made.

From what we have heard from this is as prequel, but might have elements of a reboot because Vaughn said he will be looking at Star Trek as an influence. That may mean some sort of time shift/alteration somewhere along the line.

So Mystique and Azazael... will we see a baby Nightcrawler? That would be cute. However, since Fox doesn't like to stick to continuity we probably won't get the proper treatment for this franchise until Marvel gets the film rights back.

@Ibz - The reason no one knows if this is a reboot or a prequel is because FOX doesn't even know. But, that isn't saying much... they pretty much don't know ANYTHING! For proof look at this film.
