Taylor Lautner Will NOT Join X-Men: First Class

Why is it that I am not shocked by this?

E! Online has debunked the world wide internet rumor that Taylor "Jacob" Lautner has been cast in Matthew Vaughn's X-Men prequel, "X-Men: First Class".

According to E, sources close to Lautner says it is "not true"... I really cant say I am shocked.

Look, Taylor Lautner is HUGE right now, yes. I would not be surprised if FOX really did opt to cast him in "X-Men: First Class", but lets be real here, Lautner has the "Twilight" franchise right now and he just got cast as "Stretch Armstrong"... I dont even think Lautner would accept an offer to be in "X-Men: First Class" considering he already is a superhero and has a major franchise to deal with. Hell, Sharkboy is a superhero!

So there you have it, Taylor Lautner is NOT joining "X-Men: First Class", the film being directed by Matthew Vaughn, and starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Alice Eve. "X-Men: First Class" is set for a June 3, 2011 release date.

P.S., just for fun, who could Lautner have played? I say Beast...

Great news! Maybe this movie will actually
survive now. It sure has had it's troubles.

I hope Vaughn can save this but secretly I
want it to fail so the X-Men will go back
to Marvel where they belong.

I don't think he can play a role in the x-men universe. However..*as I prepare for the backlash* I think he is perfect for Namor....Now let me explain take a look at ultimate Namor, I believe its Ultimate Fantastic Four issue#25 its as if they stole his image and photoshopped it on. I'm not a fan of Twlight! Haven't read the books nor do I care to for that matter. I just think that if they are going to use him, then he would be perfect for the new reboot for the new FF and him being the villain would be perfect.
