I don't know if some one has shown this before but i haven't seen any post here of it.While i was watching the trailers and TV spots of X-Men First Class I noticed something. IN one of the TV Spot They Show a scene of Magneto fighting someone (Sebastian Shaw as you can see in the pics) Couldn't find it when making this post . When you look at it closely you can see that the other person is wearing the magneto helmet. Then I found this images. . .

Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon) Holding the helmet in the room of the submarine i think by the look of the door.

DUUUHHH!!! I noticed this way back when the 1st trailer aired. Sebastian Shaw is the originator of the helmet & Erik'll steal it to block Emma & Charles.

it shows them giving Erik the helmet in the trailer. why would he steal what they hand over to him willingly?

noticed this from the first trailer nothing really surprising to me. Magneto probably takes it as a trophy after he beats the crap out of shaw or possibly kills him, then realises that it stops telepathy or he probably knows it already. He then unleashes his fury on soviets and other humans around him, charles trys to invades his mind doesn't work so they duke it out. Just speculation so who knows.

Magneto punching Shaw would only make Shaw stronger, without his powers, Shaw would beat the hell out of Mags with no problem.

anyway, this is a good find, even if its a little irritating. if Shaw is indeed the person that makes the helmet, and Magneto gets it from his in some way shape or form, then thats kind of disappointed to me.

Makes sense since the hemet blocks telepathy. I bet shaw will corrupt
Magneto then he'll get the helmet and the rest is history
