Agent 47's Somewhat New Look

Behind the scenes pictures show Rupert Friend as the cold blooded silent assassin.

Thanks to Geek Crusade, we have some behind the scenes shots from the set of Agent 47, which include Rupert Friend (replacing the late Paul Walker) as the title character. Traditionally, Agent 47 has sported a completely bald head with a barcode in the middle. 2007's Hitman starring Timothy Olyphant was loyal to this look if nothing else:

But it seems the new film will slightly alter Agent 47's appearance. As you can see in the image below, Rupert Friend's 47 has some stubble on his head and rather than a barcode in the middle, he features a series of numbers just above his neck.

Agent 47 is scheduled to open March 2015. Check out Greek Crusade for more pictures from the Singapore shoot.

I liked Hitman as well. It could have been closer to the games but I thought it was fun for what it was.

Some shots are heavily inspired by the games. Like when 47 is walking in the restaurant and the hotel at the end.

The theatrical release had an opening scene taken from the show, Dark Angel. I remember reading that there was no Dark Angel in the French version of the DVD, the opening was a bunch of cool video game inspired shots of 47.

They've already announced a new Hitman game for PC/PS4/XBONE. It's a prequel with Agent 47 in the prime of his career. Not much details thus far but they made the announcement on hitman.com

There's also Hitman Go!, it's a tabletop game for iPhone. Looks really interesting.

From the logic stand point it makes sense. it is easier for infiltration.
But we dealing with video game adaptation of a popular game and it can make a lot of people angry.

But, I don't mind it to be honest. Because, while playing a game me and my friends where always like: "Why nobody notices big barcode on back of his head"

either or works, its the same thing (barcode or serial number), as for him not being fully bald, we all knew he shaves his head (as seen in the damn game lol) so it grows back, again fine.

Whats the story going to be about though?

The story is focused a young woman named Katia van Dees who teams up with Agent 47 in order to find her father and her true ancestry. They both discover that Katia is a genetically engineered assassin just like 47. Together, they fight the Syndicate to find Katia's father

I liked the 2007 flick... this would be better as a TV series?

Cool tho.
