The end of the Fast & Furious franchise is, well, fast approaching. There are now just two movies left before this era of storytelling reaches its conclusion, though the upcoming tenth instalment recently hit a bump in the road with the departure of director Justin Lin.
The filmmaker left shortly after shooting started due to apparent "creative differences" with notoriously difficult lead star Vin Diesel. Universal Pictures, however, wasted no time in replacing him with Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk), an intriguing choice to take charge of the franchise given his many action credentials.
Fast X has attracted some big names, including Oscar-winner Brie Larson. We're very excited to see the Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel star kicking ass in this world of high-octane ridiculousness, and the actor recently took to Instagram to share a jaw-dropping bikini photo.
The reason for the photo was to show off some of the bruises she's suffered while filming her role in the latest Fast & Furious movie, though the image is understandably turning heads for different reasons!
Other additions to the movie include Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Daniela Melchoir (The Suicide Squad), and Alan Ritchson (Reacher). Returning stars include Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Charlize Theron, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, and Scott Eastwood.
Fast & Furious 10, a.k.a. Fast X, is set to rev into theaters on May 19, 2023.
