Although many fans and critics might not agree, Harrison Ford wants to see more of Mutt and Marion in the next Indy movie. 2008's Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which, despite dividing those same fans and critics, earned $787 million globally. In a recent interview with MTV Ford said "George [Lucas] is working on an idea, and if it comes to a fruitful stage, all of us are very interested in making another." To refresh your memory, Indiana Jones marries Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) to bring the family unit back together with his long lost son Mutt (Shia LeBeouf). It seems this is the direction Harrison would like to see his iconic character go in:

"I think it would be interesting to advance the understanding of the character, as we always have had that ambition throughout the series...to deepen the relationship between him and his son and play on that relationship. It's full of opportunity. The series is full of opportunity."

"I think [scenes with a married Indy and Marion] would be nice grace notes. We'll see what we come up with.

"Karen [Allen]'s a wonderful actress, I've always enjoyed working with her. I'm hoping that there'll be a part for all of us in the next one."

DogsOfWar-If the 67 year old actor wants to don the fedora again, I am ok with that. Just don't let George near the script again and it has a chance.

Actually, I thought part 2, Temple of Doom, was horrible! Very childish and a total turnaround in theme from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Crystal Skull felt like part 2 in terms in direction & writing. 1 & 3 were superb.

However... Bring on part 5! I'll be there!

@antz LMAO.
They should never ever make this movie! But starwars 7. Now that sounds like something i want to see. But they'll probably [frick] that up 2.

Another star wars would be cool if they did the right storyline, like Ford reprises Solo and blames one of his kids for Chewie dying. Actual (gasp!) drama in the SW universe, not that campy sh&t they have today.

@antz Awesome.

Can't wait for this movie. It is going to be sweet. The last one was not that bad and all the stunts are no different than the crazy stunts from the previous. I felt if fell right in line with the theme.

@ supermarioworldE

When I watched Temple of Doom as a kid, I thought it was awesome.

I watched it again, when I was 31, and realized it was just plain stupid. Didn't fit Raiders..

Raiders of the Lost Ark is simply one of the greatest adventure movies.

@Jahozafat

I thought that Temple Of Doom was great, but to each his own I guess.

And Yes, Raiders Was AWESOME. Spielberg's greatest action film by far.

ill watch it. again, as most stated the 4th wasnt great, but decent enough for me to watch more. i agree with ditching shia though and bring back connery. faked his death, kidnapped by bad guys and they staged his death, whatever, just bring him back and it will be better.
