What a lovely day. Mad Max: Fury Road may not have won either of the major awards it was nominated for (Best Film and George Miller for Best Director), but it did take home 6 out of a potential 10 Oscars which is very impressive indeed. Who the [frick] is Mark Rylance?
I wish they would cancel the Oscars next year. That was more drawn out than all three Hobbit movies. Sly lost and then Patricia Arquette, who was drunk off her ass or something almost said poor Mark Ruffalo's nane. The only worthwhile part was that dude who said Super Fly was the best movie ever. At least Leo won.

@thor2273 - lol why would Sly deserve it? He just played a old Sylvester Stallone. Everyone, Bale, Ruffalo, Hardy and Rylance (who was brilliant in Bridge of Spies, a movie with Tom Hanks) was better than him. If he would have won, he would practically just win for his "lifetime achievement".
Oh, and if you don't like the Oscars, THEN DON'T [frick]ING WATCH THE OSCARS!

@Cooler - Because in 2013 (the last time i watched) they did Best supporting early. That was the only I cared about Because i wanted Sly to win and I like Bale, Ruffalo, and Hardy otherwise I would have just watched Walking Dead. I figured Max wold win all tech and design stuff. oh, and Tracey Morgan was hilarious. it's great to see him doing so well

@thor2273 - Creed was definitely a good movie, I just think that, for example, Bale's perfomance in The Big Short was really incredible and that he would deserve it, although he had not really many scenes in that movie. But Rylance is okay as well. Adam McKay won for best screenplay at least.

@thor2273 - Mark Rylance was the director of the Globe theatre in London. He has almost every acting award you could get in a lifetime including a couple Tony's. Spielberg tried to cast him for twenty years and he finally decided to give film acting a go.... And now he is the best at that too.

Its great to see DiCaprio get this award, but I think Tom Hardy's role in the Revenant is a little overlooked. Its Fitzgerald and Hardy's villainous portrayal of him that motivates the core of the story- it elevates DiCaprio's role and its the reason you root for him.

Hardy fully transforms into a character. He's unrecognizable from one role to the next in look and voice. Its incredible. He's one of the greatest actors of our time.
