As stated above, Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation is the #1 movie in the world!

Over the weekend, the thrilling action sequel won over both critics and fans alike with its intense action sequences that feature Cruise's Ethan Hunt in a variety of death-defying predicaments that included hanging off the side of an A400, maneuvering through the rafters of the Vienna State Opera House, holding his breath in a high-pressure underwater sequence, and speeding through a high-speed car chase that turns into a high-speed motorcycle chase.

While each of these stunts were complex in their own right, the most understated of the bunch is likely the opera sequence, which featured multiple characters, including Cruise, Simon Pegg, & Rebecca Ferguson, navigating their way through the backstage of the opera house. However, as anyone who has seen the critically acclaimed film would attest, the opera sequence is definitely a huge highlight in a film filled with jaw-dropping moments.

In a video provided to the New York Times, titled "Anatomy Of A Scene," director/writer Christopher McQuarrie took a few minutes to provide a detailed commentary on the impressive opera sequence and how the whole intricately designed scene came to be. Check it out below:

Plus, check out this behind-the-scenes video, which has Cruise & and his co-stars discussing the members of Ethan Hunt's elite IMF team:
With the IMF disbanded, and Ethan (Tom Cruise) out in the cold, the team now faces off against a network of highly skilled special agents, the Syndicate. These highly trained operatives are hellbent on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who may or may not be a member of this rogue nation, as the group faces their most impossible mission yet.

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation will feature:
Director: Christopher McQuarrie
Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt
Jeremy Renner as William Brandt
Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn
Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell
Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust
Alec Baldwin as Alan Hunley
Sean Harris as Solomon Lane
Simon McBurney as Attlee
Zhang Jingchu as Lauren
Jens Hultén as Janik "Bone Doctor" Vinter
Tom Hollander as the Prime Minister
America Olivo as Turandot
Hermione Corfield as Record Shop Girl

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation has lit the fuse and is out everywhere NOW!

Watched this movie last night. Really enjoyed it, but its still not better than MI:3. I can't decide if I like this more or MI:4.

That motorbike chase was amazing.
